Ditterline Joe D PC

I saw the negative review, so I just had to add my opinion. I am very familiar with dentists, and dental offices, and this is one of the better ones. With confidence, I can say Dr. Ditterline has integrity when it comes to diagnosing and treating dental issues. Anybody that really knows him would never say he was a dentist out for money. He also does quality work. He is one of few dentists I would trust to work on my teeth.

Watch out folks! My daughter attends a boarding school in the Cottonwood area and she’s seen Dr. Ditterline twice for regular cleanings. The first time, we were told she had 6 «surface cavities» which I’d never heard of. I consulted with our family dentist at home, and even asked Dr. Ditterline’s staff to send the xray to our dentist. Our family dentist, well respected practice in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area, advised us that diagnosing «surface cavities» is often a ploy for money, so we elected to have our daughter see family dentist at home. Sure enough, no cavities at all, «surface» or otherwise!
Another year goes by and the school advises me she is scheduled for another cleaning. I inform them I don’t like Ditterline’s office, but that’s who they use, so I tell them cleaning only, no procedures. Sure enough, they call me telling me they found 5 surface cavities this time! Keep in mind, she supposedly had 6 last time, yet nothing has been done to «fix» these.
I’ve informed the school this office is run by someone scamming the families, at least at this school. If I could give zero stars, I would!
