Cool space and it has such a great vibe. I drove through town on a lengthy road trip and wanted some stellar coffee. This place delivered. Trey is an interesting guy, and knows a lot about coffee. I not only had a delicious pour over, but got some beans to go. It’s a unique business model, because he sells artwork out of that space — so the coffee is purchased on a donation basis. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area. Well worth the time.

I live nowhere close to this coffee shop, but find myself making the trek to work out of here. It’s a great space, sometimes with open air coming in, fantastic art on the wall(and sometimes being created as you enjoy our coffee). The music is always unique and enjoyable and the vibe in the room can take me right out of a bad mood. Then there is the coffee. They are getting unique coffees in all the time and Tres behind the counter can tell you about every note in each one. He then literally hand makes you a cup of coffee(not sure what the process is called-but the name Drips fits). It’s a pleasant, alive and creative space with a wonderful product. Highly recommended.

Its like encountering a hidden treasure,(drips) transports you to all those memories you have of travels far and away where you were walking around in another culture and suddenly you find this little window into your childhood where you still believed all of your dreams could come true. Stay for a cup of ethically sourced java; leave quietly inspired.

Whoa, hands down the best coffee in the Omaha/Council bluffs area. Don’t expect lattes or cappuccinos though. And definitely have a conversation with Tres. He’s fucking rad.

Drips is easily the best coffeehouse in the Omahan/CB metro area. The owner runs the place, knows his beans and gives NO barista attitude in spite of decades of experience. Try the Turkish coffee with cardamom for a traditional coffee treat. If you want whipped cream with a drizzle of chocolate formed into a leaf, go to just about any place else that looks the part. If you want really good coffee, go to Drips.

Drips is a hidden gem! I’m lucky that it’s just two blocks from my home. I noted on social media that I’d be visiting for the first time, and upon my entrance the owner Tres greeted me by name. Superior service. And superior coffee, ambiance and company. Coffee connoisseurs will eat up Tres’ knowledge and drink up his supply of French press-prepared blends. Come hungry on Sundays, as they serve waffles(with omelettes coming soon). «Cultured environment» best describes this cozy, cool spot.

Stopped in the get some work done before an appointment and discovered a quiet, cozy, cultured environment! The owner and his rescued pug were friendly and delightful to chat with. The art on the wall and the coffee-by-donation policy make this a great place for artistic coffee enthusiasts(like myself).
