The Amish Store

I absolutely love this store! Such a friendly staff and very helpful. Also the best selection of quality Amish furniture I have seen. The prices seem very reasonable for the quality of furniture. I am a fan!

I love homemade stuff. There are a lot of beautiful things for sale in this store like some of the finest furniture I can’t afford and cute little decorations. The best part for me is their collection of baked goods! They have these little fried pies that are just like the Hostess fruit pies but way better. There is also a great assortment of soup mixes, handmade pastas, fresh cheeses and pies, jellies and jams and many other good treats. I have no idea how terribly fattening these things are and I don’t want to know. I want to keep the mystery alive.
Everyone in here is really nice, too nice maybe. They kind of make me feel bad for not being nice enough, so I guess I will have to be nicer. They take credit cards too, which for some reason surprised me. Also, there is no music playing in there, which makes for a slightly awkward shopping experience.
The furniture they have here is gorgeous, but extremely expensive. I would love a 2400 $ china cabinet and 400 $ chairs, but that really isn’t in the budget. I guess you pay for quality. I am pretty sure they do custom couches too.
Normally I would give a place like this 2 stars just on prices alone, but the baked stuff they sell is good, real good. 4 star good.
