This is a review for the Things that go Bump in the Night Tour. Every October, the homestead puts on a candlelit tour of the house from top to bottom. History of the family mixed with ghost stories from the staff make this a Halloween must. Everything was authentic. The tour concludes in the kitchen where time period refreshments are served– including donuts that are fried over the fire right before your eyes. At this point, guests are encouraged to share any ghostly encounters from their lives. This is not your typical haunted house tour!

Coventry Farmers Market is one of the best farmers markets in the region. There were many food trucks, organic baked goods, cheeses, herbs, plants, flowers and artisan crafts on display. It was very well attended as the wait to get in and park took almost 25 mins. There is, however; a hugh field to park in just getting in there is a chore as two way traffic along country back roads is difficult at best. Toward the end of the season in the Fall, you tend to see a higher vendor participation as local farmers bring their produce to market. For those of you who like craft beer that is also available a little later in the season. If you plan on attending go early, it is open from 11am to 2pm, I would recommend arriving at 10am park and wait. There is no charge for parking or an admittance fee.
