Breakfast is okay, just average. The place is small but when it’s nice out you have the option to eat outside which is pretty because it’s right by the lake. There are better breakfast places less than 5 minutes from here that have a better selection and cheaper prices. I think for the area and quality, it is overpriced, especially since their are cheaper places around.

So I’m getting tires next door at Benny’s stopped in for breakfast. Glad I did had their country eggs Benedict. Wow perfection poached eggs with ham, spinach, hollandaise, cheese topped with crumbled bacon and a side of home fries. Sal did an excellent job. Compliments to the chef and waitresses are pretty darn good too.

I love the food scene Downcity, but every once in a while, it’s good to branch out! I visited The Cozy Grille for breakfast this AM with my best friend. The place was hopping at 8:30; a decent sign! The service was solid, and the food flew out of the kitchen. I ordered a cheese omelet, and subbed a fruit cup and gluten-free toast for the home fries and, well, regular toast. Both substitutions were accommodated at no extra charge, a touch I really appreciated! My cheese omelet was decent, and my only point of contention is the rubbery Kraft single with which it was garnished. The coffee was weak, but refills were plentiful. My bestie opted for 3 eggs, homefries, and bacon. Her meal made me sad that I avoided the potatoes! Both the fries and bacon were perfectly crispy. Our bill totalled $ 30 with tip. Simple, decent fare, solid customer service, and nice atmosphere… easy like Sunday morning! I’ll visit again.

Good food, ok prices. I like that they serve breakfast all day. Big plus. I like choices. Had a BLT with a cup of chicken escarole soup. Was very good. Service was good, server was efficient. Place is clean, modern and the bathroom was super clean. Huge parking lot. Considering the very limited choices of good to great places to eat in Coventry this made my «would go back again» list

The Best place to eat in Coventry. The cozy grill is not just your ordinary breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant it’s 10 steps above. The food is delivered by there wonderful staff hot, presented beautifully and served with a smile. The owner chef pays close attention to detail and the fresh awesome food he serves. Now let’s talk about the décor is earth tones and extremely inviting. The bathrooms belong in a five star hotel. Overall this is my place for BLD. As Mickey would say try it you’ll like it again and again.

Outstanding home cooked breakfast. The omelets had large pieces of ham inside. Absolutely delicious food!

Every time I visit R. I this place will hold a special place in my heart. They do have great food, they made my niece a mickey mouse pancake, so cute. And the server was great I wish I remembered her name I never do im so bad. She seemed like she had been there for awhile though. We were having a family breakfast, and it was our last day with our Grandma & Grandpa before heading back to Colorado. I guess my grandma and grandpa love this place. My grandpa enjoyed his breakfast like a champ, he loved it! Unfortunately he passed away a week later. BUT I really hope the waitress I had will be there next time we travel that way so I can thank her and the other servers for always taking care of my grandparents. Grace and Sam. Thank you !!

A breakfast joint The first Cozy Grill started in 1981 and opened up a second location in Coventry in 2010. I guess two locations doesn’t exactly make it a chain restaurant and it still has a local owned, home town feel. The Cozy Grill serves lunch and dinner as well as breakfast but seems to be one of those old fashion breakfast joints that all the locals go to eat in the morning. The breakfast menu is what you would expect, lots of different things but nothing particularly unusual. The portions are huge and the price reasonable, just like you would expect from a place like this. The restaurant is fairly large and has a few cool old pictures hanging off the walls but nothing really interesting. People come here for food and not ambiance. The omelets are excellent, service prompt, building clean and coffee endless. Can’t ask for much more than that to start the day.

I frequent this place with my girlfriend, and i will say it is a bit hit or miss. Sometimes we go and I am satisfied and other times the food seems a bit greasy or poorly cooked. I feel a bit dirty at times but the place is good.

Truly as good as it gets in a local, privately owned eatery. Staff are all long time people, service is excellent, prices are reasonable, and the food is just wonderful. For a long while, living right nearby, we would eat there every Saturday morning without fail. Eddie was our waitstaffer and we think the world of him. When our business, Local Pros Coventry Pest Control, celebrated its 25th anniversary we sent all our longest term clients gift certificates to eat there. We have moved and it is not as easy for us to get in to «The Cozy» as it was, but whenever we can, we’re there!

The local place for breakfast, everyone is very nice, you will see everyone you know. The food is inconsistent for breakfast, sometimes the home fries are really good, well-seasoned with onions and other times they are cold pieces of bland potato. Kids love the Eastern Omelette, mom loves the good service.

Food is good. Staff is always hustling, making sure your comfortable and have everything you need. Bar side is a nice little hang out on a Friday night, not very big though…

One of our favorite places for breakfast… You won’t be disappointed with the food portions or price… Bottomless tea and coffee. Friendly waitstaff… Large selection of breakfast items from pancakes to eggs, french toast, etc… They have a pretty long wait, so plan accordingly, especially if you have a large group. !!

Food and service were great. Highly recommend the seafood bisque. Great find while trekking from NYC to Boston. Sampler platter was good too, no room for desert lol

We’ve been to the Cozy Grill many times — I love that they have breakfast AND lunch menus, comfortable seating, and reasonable prices. The service is consistently good. Food is served quickly. I LOVE their cole slaw — a perfect blend of vinegary and sweet.

Only go for breakfast! The waitresses are really great, and I always find that breakfast there is awesome. However, every single time I have eaten dinner there my kids chicken tenders came out burned. 3rd time was the charm. Never eating dinner there again, but breakfast is a slam dunk.

Please take this in the kind and loving manner it was intended. I an not a fan, all though I can tell that they have a large and loyal customer base. This place is designed for and caters to the blue hair group. That is to say that for me, the food was a little bland. It was also kind of predictable. I was looking to start the New Year off with eating at someplace new AND, I wanted some good New England Corned Beef. Unfortunately, the place did not make their own and canned stuff is just friggen lazy. So I had the Cheese Steak Omelet. Once you added seasonings, it was not too bad. Aside from that, all of the rest of the typical breakfast fare was pretty out of the box, and I do mean box. So I will not be going back, well at least as long as their are diners in RI that make their stuff from scratch.
