This was my first time going to Chatterbox, the bartender there was very unprofessional I was talking with my friend about sports and he kept giving us dirty looks. We noticed that there was a tv in the corner that was turned off,
when we asked him to put a game on. After explaining to us that yes they do in fact carry that channel, and the tv did work. he gave us attitude and said he wasn’t going to do it and there would be no argument and then he informed us that we should go to a different bar if we wanted to watch the last game of the season. So we did. Obviously i wont be going back there. But if you like sports. Or being treated like a human being, you could probably skip this place. Or at least figure out when travis the rude bartender is working and at least avoid his shifts.

Well… i love this place. Steve, trevor and Rebecca make me the best fruity drink ever. Like i love it so much. Sometimes i wonder, is this ganna get me buzzed for the price and at times i sit and wonder but after my second one im on a good one!
Haha, i love the security guard since day one. He always remembers me and gives me hug. Much love.
Come for sunday comedy night.
This is a dive bar, exclusive to regulars. So you will see a bunch getting more smiles and talks from the bartenders so if you dont know someone say hi and youll be good.
One one pool table.

Comedy nights here are rad.
Much needed humour, especially when feeling as if life has been peeing in my soup. (Things happen)

Usually, will end up «embarrassing myself» by attempting to awkwardly play pool.
have played here quite a bit in the past. …if there is a trophy for NEVER WINNING AT POOL, would absolutely earn that.
Don’t forget to tip your bartender and have fun
Scooby snacks are great if you happen to be a kid at heart.

After going to a different bar down the street I was impressed coming here. I came in on a Monday night so it was pretty empty in there, but you can still feel the laid back vibe. The bar is pretty small though and has only one pool table so I could see it being pretty packed here on the weekends. Our bartender was really chill and cool to talk to. He was knowledgeable of the drinks, the bar, and it’s history. He informed us of the no-​charge comedy shows on Sunday nights which seems like a lot of fun. He helped me pick a cocktail from the cocktail menu, i got the peach drink they have and it was pretty good. What I really liked most though was the price point for the drinks… $ 5 for my cocktail and I believe my dads beer was around $ 3. Down the street my michelada was $ 8…

Everyone but Steve is our #1. That guy makes u laugh and could just carry interesting conversations all nite. Love to. sit at the bar and chat with him. Drinks are so inexpensive as well.

Sunday comedy is the best thing ever! My partner loves comedy and I usually avoid it because j don’t think racism/​sexism/​homophobia is funny. However, at the chatterbox I have found that not only are the comics funnier than at flappers and the improv, but it’s FREE and the comics are smarter! It’s more common to see smart comedy than low brow and that makes it fun for both me and my partner. I’ve also been to the chatterbox on non-​comedy nights and it is also fun and feels down home. As a person in my thirties I feel like the age demographic feels right-it’s not just a bunch of 21 year olds. Anyway can’t say enough how much I love this place. Thanks to Junko and Elias for showing it to us!

Were has Chatterbox been all my life! One of the best local bars ive been to. Not only do they have Happy hour till 9 ($ 2pbr $ 3wells) but they have stand up comedy on Sundays at 930 pm. And its Free! The staff is super friendly and funny as hell. Ive only been three times and its never been a disappointed. For shure our new spot on weeknds. Thanks Steve for the good laughs and Travis best bartender evvver!!!

Best Bar ever! The bar tender is amazing, we ordered Chinese food and was delivered to us at the bar :) Comedy Show was insane JEFF Garcia was here totally made us laugh. All the comedians were great. If you’re looking for a good time and want a great vibe with your buzz come to chatterbox

This whiskey is made in house. It is peachy obviously bit not as sweet as you think. I got the Peach Julep. This Drink hails from the darkness of chatter box made with brown sugar syrup, fresh mint, with angostura bitters. Not bad at all. I would suggest trying it to judge yourself.
This drink should be directed to your female date or friend. But I thought it was pretty good if you keep it in its realm.

I don’t write a lot of reviews. Especially ones about how good a place is. I usually just go back at lot. BUT Travis is the best bartender in America and Steve, Scott and Ellie put on an awesome comedy show. Nationally touring headliners, it’s stupid good, awesome crowd. It’s killer. It’s so good I feel like you don’t believe me and that’s fine. I don’t care. I’m not sleeping with you

Great bar! I always love coming out for comedy night on Sunday’s, that’s mainly when I go, and I’ve never had trouble with any of the bartenders here they are very accommodating. If you haven’t come here for comedy night you’re missing out and if you haven’t had a pickle back with their house made pickle juice then you must try this bar. Greats drinks, great shows, and great people.

I went one time to the Chatterbox comedy night and it was so cool. Also I went once to the bar it wasn’t on a Sunday though and I think the guy from the comedy show works there! How cool. He was really nice to me and super funny. Great bartender. I like this place because the specialty drinks are really good. I remember the guy Travis made me one on the comedy night and it was delightful. It is a bar with a fun feel and good vibes.

This is a really cool Dive Bar with a great comedy open mic on Thursdays and a booked comedy show on Sunday.
Cheap Drinks $ 2 Beers and great mix drinks.
Check it out great pool table and nice place to watch a Football game.

The cons: very little seats and very little parking. Eek parked across the st and risked our car getting towed.
Pros: comedy night was good along with the regular nights. Fun environment and good selection of drinks. They also except consular id so that’s a plus.
