Good place for a good price. I recommend to skip the chicken schwerma. Will be back :)

Great food, great quality and one of my favorites in the area. Only thing is it takes a bit of time to get your food which is a bummer. I also bought a Gift Card that they advertised on the website and refused to accept it which was an inconvenience because I had to get my money back from the original vendor. The food however, is really really good. I love the chicken shwarma.

The food here is really delicious, but like everybody says the food takes a REALLY long time to come out. So always call ahead and give yourself plenty of time. They usually say it takes 20 – 25 minutes but it’s more like 35 – 60 minutes. Good food takes time, so I don’t dock stars for this issue. What I usually order… Chicken kebab Potato salad(really good, but very oily) Spicy hummus(THE best hummus) Baba ganoush Falafels The only reason this place is not getting five stars is because of their service. The owners and one of the girl is really friendly and helpful, but there’s one girl that ALWAYS has a sour look on her face. It’s obvious she dislikes her job and that negativity can be felt by the customers. Feels pretty awkward every time I order my food with her lol. But beside that, it’s a great place to eat!

Longest wait ever. We ordered our food at 12:44 and watched the staff talk it’s been over 20 minutes waiting for the food to cook… Bad service. I’m on my lunch break and I wasted ½ it here starving. It’s also cash only. I ordered chicken Kabob plate. Its good… I really liked the Hummas this place get 3 stars for good food but bad service and long wait.

This is possibly the best Mediterranean food I have had in a along time. The Mediterranean salad was the best I’ve ever had and the falafel’s were ridiculously good… highly recommended! Update: Still continues to be my favorite Mediterranean joint for lunch.

Georgie’s Mediterranean has great tasting food. This place is located in Downtown Covina, near Heritage Plaza. My wife and I usually order the beef shawerma and chicken shawerma plates. The portions are good for two people. I suggest calling ahead because it takes time for the food to be cooked. Prices are about average compared to other Mediterranean restaurants. There is street parking available. The service is decent, but the girl who handles the cash register tends to be too serious and does not smile much.

I just happened upon Georgie’s today for lunch. I had the falafel plate with hummus and cold potato salad. It was so yummy and fabulous! The place is small and they make the food fresh while you wait. Definitely a hidden gem! I will definitely be back!

I am so happy that we finally have a Mediterranean place in town. This food was delicious and plentiful. The owners are really nice. This is also a great family friendly restaurant. I will be certain to return. We ordered chicken shawarma and chicken kebab plates. We were given a free appetizer of falafel to try. I was very happy with the quality and taste of the food. Highly recommend!

I found my Mediterranean place finally! Tried all the competitors in Azusa, Glendora, and Covina and something is always off with them. Meats are so flavorful and moist, the rice is unique and tasty, and the sides are wonderful. I like that the tabbouleh isn’t overpowered by raw parsley and the hummus has more of a savory sesame note to it. Even the pita bread is nice and soft which is a nice touch. Call ahead about 20 – 25 mins beforehand — it’s worth the wait. Great family business.

I was craving Mediterranean food so found this one on Unilocal and saw the review and decided to give it a go. Its not that good, its not very flavorful, I’ve had very good authentic Mediterranean food and was hoping it would be just as good but to my disappointment it wasn’t. If you had Zanku Chicken its nothing to compare, Zanku is WAY better!!! so don’t expect it to taste the same. I will not go back. sorry!

I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is delicious. I had the chicken kabob both times and both times the meat is perfectly cooked, tender and hot. The tabouli is fresh, the hummus is flavorful, and the garlic sauce is icing on the cake. This is a family owned business and they sure know how to make you feel welcomed. I’d recommend this place to anybody who has a hankering for some great Mediterranean food!

Best Mediterranean in town! Stumbled across this gem by accident and can’t stop talking about it. Great food at reasonable prices. Family run is always a plus for me. I love to support small businesses. Be prepared to wait for your food, as they do have a sign posted, «Great tasting food takes time to make.» Everything is made fresh. It’s very clean and bright with plenty of seating, though we always take it to go. I recommend Georgie’s to those who love Mediterranean and those looking to try a taste of the middle east. You won’t be disappointed.

A great place for lunch! I get the beef kabob plate with sides of baba ghanoush and spicy hummus — all excellent. The white garlic sauce that comes with the beef is out of this world and the beef is very tender. Allow about 20 minutes for them to cook your food and be aware that the parking stalls out front are for one hour only(move your car after an hour or else you risk getting a ticket from the PD). Such great food and plenty of choices on the menu. You won’t be disappointed.

I enjoy the flavors so much! Granted I’ve only tried iGrill. The only gripe I have about this spot is that I am 8 miles away(sad face) and it’s not conducive to ordering on the spot. I tried calling in but the number listed here was disconnected. But will definitely be back!

Very yummy Mediterranean food. They don’t call it tzizkiki they call it cucumber yogurt. but it was amazing. The prices are very reasonable. We tried the garlic fries and they were very bland, just get the regular if u want fries. Falafel was bomb

Yoo!!! This place is bomb, lit, cray, etc. truly a hidden gem in Covina. My cousin took a group of us here. And lawdy lawdy lawd. This place was good. Filling and flavorful. Need I say more? I got the chicken shwarma, cucumber salad, and Mediterranean salad all for about $ 10 I think. The chicken shwarma was perfectly seasoned and complimented both the cucumber and Mediterranean salad. Both salads were very refreshing. The food did take a little to come out but I’d rather have freshly cooked food than premade chicken shit. I’m sure this is the type of place where you can order anything off the menu and you’d be satisfied. Please do not hesitate to come here if you’re looking for a bomb meal to feast on. Everything here was on point! Thank you guys for a memorable first experience. Definitely coming back when I visit the fam again.

I stopped by here during my lunch and I’m glad I found this place! It’s situated right in the downtown are of Covina. There’s plenty of spaces to park on the street. The food is pretty good. I don’t get Mediterranean food often, but when I do I can usually tell the difference between places that use good cuts of meat and places that use bad. Georgie’s uses good cuts of meat. They’re also master cooks or something. Places that I typically go to for Mediterranean food just cook the meat well done or overcook it because it’s easier. Georgie’s was served to me as a perfect medium rare. It was so juicy, so flavorful and the portion size was huge! Or I could just be used to portion sizes down in San Diego where they charge more for less food… but I really like Georgie’s!

WOW! What a great find for one of those days where your teen gets her hair did and the parents have nothing to do while waiting. I used Unilocal to search for mediterrenean cuisine and they did good by including this jewel in their list. I have had mediterrenean food when we lived in Europe and i loved it. The food here is even better than the ones i’ve tasted. I had the lamb chops plate while my husband had the steak. ITWASDELICIOUSLYFULLOFFLAVOR! The meat was tender and grilled just right. The rice was divine, soft and moist and tasty. The garlic spread for the pita bread is a MUST! The tabouleh is made perfectly, not too sour and not too salty. They have a sign that says the food takes long because they are all cooked to order & that is just fine!!!
