It had to happen sometime, Pizza Chalet changed hands. Walked into a transformation in place, and it is all for the better. Gone is the outdated dark theme and old tvs. The new owners have started to redecorate. The biggest plus for me was the bathroom redo. Not so dingy and unclean. Food is the same I had a combination grinder. Sadly the new owner did not keep the chips with the sandwiches.(At least offer them for sale) Peter the guy that made my food was very personable and you can tell he is a happy guy by the way he greeted other customers. Peter is a great addition! Prices are the same but they now have unlimited soft drinks. Go them them a try! Love their Grinders!

Pizza is okay. Usually great service but came here for dinner tonight for a to go pizza. Ordered, waited 10 min, saw them toss a pizza in the counter. Didn’t call anyone or anything. Stared at that pizza for 45 minutes then finally someone saw me waiting. so! Then they called out my name. So disappointed. Pizza was already cold. don’t even want to give 1 star.

Yup, definitely a fan. In fact, been a fan since maybe 8 years old when I use to come to Pizza Party’s after our baseball game. So, when I continue to go somewhere, that I have been going to for over 20 years — the place must be doing something right! Don’t come here expecting some gourmet pizza, snazzy interior or anything out of this world. What you do get though, is an establishment that has been here forever, provides quality food, is super consistent, and continually provides great service to you day in, day out. The two guys behind the counter are great! They greet you when you walk in, they help you with the menu, make sure you are ordering enough food for your party, and are there available once you get up from your table and need assistance with anything. Place is a, just like home kinda feel. Brings me back to good’ ol’ childhood days and taste the damn same! Thin crust pizza, tiny, but good salad bar … with a couple of pitchers for beer! As much as no one gives this place any credit, this pizza joint makes my top ten best pizza list!

First time here, loved the comfortable throwback environment and the fireplace. Loved the thin crust style pizza and the lunch specials. Definitely will be back again.

Really enjoyed this pizza! Crust isn’t doughy, sauce is not too sweet, toppings were fresh. Loved it. The one down fall is bad ranch tastes like hidden valley. Ranch with any pizza is a necessity, where else ru gonna dip your remaining crust? Get better ranch Pizza Chalet!

My go-to: Mexican pizza This place is dark and dreary inside. Definitely needs an update. I usually just pick up and eat at home. The prices are high for pizza. But if you get their membership card(which never expires), it’s always buy one get one. That brings down the cost per slice to a normal competitive level. The pizza is all pretty good. A classic hole in the wall. The Mexican pizza is the real reason why I go here. It’s like a taco meets pizza. The fresher the pizza the better since they have cold tomatoes, lettuce, and cheese on top of the hot pizza. So eating at the restaurant is best if you live more than 5 minutes away. If the lettuce, tomato, and tortilla strips get warm and soggy, you won’t be impressed. I add some tapatio to it for extra spice. Since it has double the amount of toppings as a regular pizza, your eyes will likely be bigger than your stomach. It’s very filling. Also note it doesn’t reheat well. My 4 stars goes to the Mexican pizza. If I rated the overall menu, ambiance, etc. on a cumulative score, it would be a 3. But the Mexican pizza makes my list of unusually tasty and ingenious mashups of our beloved taco and pizza.

Used to come here with my parents when I was little all the time. I was shocked to see it still open. Pizza was not as great as I remembered, fried greenbeans were burnt and missing most of batter, the wings were fatty like the cheap microwave kind. The ranch is horrible as was the blu cheese. Way overpriced for the lack of quality. It was kinda cool to see it look the same inside. But you can have it kitchy and clean which it was not. Restroom doors wouldnt close. And some shady ass people coming in and out. 2 stars because of video games n bringing back memories. Sad to say I wont go back

Same owner for the past 30 something years. Definitely a flash back into the past. 30 $ for a medium 2 topping pizza & a pitcher of beer. Will I be back? Probably not.

Food was good but very pricy. No refills on a $ 2.50 glass of sprite. No seconds on the salad bar. I will not be returning to this place.

I don’t think I can explain how much I love Pizza Chalet! It holds tons of memories for me… from having my 6th birthday party here to coming here every other weekend with my family to casual lunch date with pals. I’ve been coming here for 20 years and the only reason is because of the GREAT food and quality customer service. Everyone’s extremely kind and helpful and the pizza? You haven’t had good pizza until you’ve had Pizza Chalet. Maybe the décor isn’t the best, but it’s good for families and very casual/homey. Small salad bar, but you’re there for the 2-for-1 pizza, aren’t you? Don’t listen to anybody bad mouthing this place because clearly the good reviews outweigh the bad. Yay Pizza Chalet!

What a DUMP! Really?! You call this a pizza place?! I thought I slipped upon a flashback to the 80’s: the old smelly carpet, the faded wall art, the antiquated Tube TV’s and the FRP restrooms walls. The place hasn’t had a facelift since. .. we’ll never. . It’s all original! Their claim to fame is their Two-For-One-Pizza Deal which really isn’t a deal when you see what you get for a «pizza.» The salad bar is nothing more than iceberg lettuce and processed canned vegetables for toppings. Just be sure to check in with the server before you serve your salad or she’ll bark across the room to let you know it’s only one serving from the salad bar. Duh!

/to the tune of Rihanna«We Found Love» «WEFOUNDLOVEIN A PIZZZAAAPLACEEEE» HOTDAMNDISPIZZARIGHTHURRRR. Listen, on the real, I was chubby little kid growing up. Possibly because my parents didn’t teach me the values of portion size. Although I was chubby, I knew what my taste buds loved. My parents used to always get pizza from this joint either after a soccer/baseball game and would HANDFEEDMETHISDELICIOUSPIZZA. «But Ricardo, why would they hand feed you that pizza? Isn’t that a little weird…» STFUMYCHUBBYLITTLEHANDSWEREN’T WORTHYOFHOLDINGTHISPIZZABYMYMINI-SAUSAGEFINGERS! Fast forward to 2014, almost 2015, and I ALWAYS go here for my pizza cravings(Editors Note: which is all the f-in time). The pizza is THEGREATESTEVER. «IDK Rick, Pizza Hut is pretty good» /slaps pizza from your hands GTFOWITHTHATWEAKGAME. Pizza Hut doesn’t know the pizza game. Pizza Chalet does. You can eat one whole pizza by yourself because your body is like«I’M READYPLEASEFEEDME». OMG and get this, THEYHAVE A FUCKINGMEMBERSHIPCARDSOYOUCANGETTWOPIZZASFORTHEPRICEOFONE! Listen, if you want pizza with kind of a thin-crust feel and cheese that melts perfectly onto generous portions of pep and sausage then come here. This is THEBESTPIZZAJOININTHEWORLD. I’ve lived in New York for two years so I know good pizza but this stuff right here, OMG they would be JEALOUS. 5 Stars. 6 Stars because they have the same video games inside when I was a chubby little twerp. I love this place I’ve been coming here for 27yrs! My heart falls for deep dish pizza all the time but when it comes to pizza chalet I dont even care that its thin crust. The crust is not too crunchy but crunchy enough to hold the toppings. I brought my girlfriend here and she instantly fell in love with it. Its a hole in the wall stuck in time. Nothing has changed for over 30 yrs. I walk in and remember when I was 12 and my team and I just got done playing a little league game. Many memories at this place.

Came here after passing it multiple times on my way home from school. You get a vintage vibe inside, but Tvs are perfectly placed. Ordered their lunch special and an order of bread sticks. The breadsticks were delicious. Pizza wasn’t too soft or too thin. Overall was worth the $ 18 definitely coming back

I’ve been coming here for years since I was a kid. The food here never disappoints and the price is right too! I love that they are one of the only remaining pizza parlors left in the area and still going strong! Classic video games and lots of TV screens. Only thing they need is a new paint job on the outside and a new sign.

Food is really nothing spectacular but it does the job. Like the fact that thier pizza dough is not too bready so you really get to enjoy the cheese and toppings. Wings are better than most, not fatty and flavor is on point, hot ones are ridiculously hot and burning your mouth. The best thing about this place is that you buy one pizza and get one free. The place itself is always clean, games for the kids boarder the dining area, I like that since most places have the games in another room. They have a god amount of TVs but it doesnt get crazy in there. Good for large groups and team parties.

OK this place is cray… as my kids say. I’ve only been here for my kids team parties. Definitely the Charter-Oak/Covina sports crowd kinda hangout. Not that that’s a bad thing, mind you. It’s a cultural thing here in my town and that’s cool. Cramped and Crowded, hot, kids running wild, many pitchers of bud light being consumed. The pizza’s not bad, it reminds me of Round Table pizza. Crackey-thin crust. Its not my kind of pizza, but its alright.
