In September when it was ridiculously hot, our air conditioner condenser over flowed. Once we realized it had been leaking, the wall, carpet and baseboards in our master bedroom were completely saturated. A friend of ours recommended I call Thomas Brunjes/Servpro because he had done work for him in the past. He came out right away with fans, and some sort of dehumidifying machine. He pulled off the base boards, and carpet padding and left the fans for a few days. With no mold detected, he was able to salvage our carpeting in this process as well. The drying process ran smoothly. Thomas came by a couple of times to check on the on the progress of the fans and see if any other work was necessary. After it was dry, he sent someone to come replace and paint the baseboards and install carpet padding. I was relieved not to have to find someone on my own. While I’m sure this is one of the smaller jobs he has dealt with, the flood was a big inconvenience for our family. I appreciate the amount of attention he paid to our situation and how quickly he was able to get our home back to normal. His prices were completely reasonable, and while I hope to never have to call him again, if I have another issue like this one, he will be the first person I contact.

Took me a while to absorb all of the pain in the lost I incurred on the water damages in order to write this review. On the day of the water damage, I googled preservation b/c I wanted a well known and professional service provider since my parents had water damage from city plumbing lines and a national preservation company did a great job for them a few years back. Thomas Brujnes was the first to answer my frantic calls and then showed up in a matter of two hours to inspect. Preservation services are very costly so I’ve learned the hard way to carry insurance at all times now. No matter how painful the loss, Thomas helped made it easier for me to manage this loss. He was professional, courteous, and understanding. He had to deal with quite annoying and nit-picking tenants below but handled it very well, in my opinion, b/c of the sensitivity of the issue. Most important, he gave me peace of mind that I really needed in these situations. He is honest, hard working, and does what he says. His contractors appear a tiny bit unreliable and careless but he makes things right every time. Through conversations, it’s apparent that he knows the going rates for materials and services and offered competitive rates to me. The 3 – 4 weeks project seemed long but he had to remediate and renovate my unit as well as the unit below(tenants delayed work a little bit as well) and water damages expose a great amount of hidden repairs behind the walls and under the floors in older built properties. Thomas suggested they be repaired and the costs added were reasonable market rates b/c it appears that he has good sources to work with so when he suggests a repair, it is clear to me that it is in my best interest to do it to preserve the quality and longevity of the property. Besides, who else to trust to repair than someone I already trust to complete this huge project. I hope this never happens to me again but if it does, I know Thomas Brunjnes will be on my speed dial. I will absolutely refer him to any of my clients needing the same services as well.
