Seems to be closed. Stopped to try this place out on a Wednesday at 11:30am. Hours say 10am-​2am

This isn’t only my favorite bar in Covina is just my favorite bar. Tip the cool bar tenders

Horrible service. Ordered delivery yesterday. Food arrived an hour and 35 minutes after placing my order: which was 30 minutes later than they claimed it would take. The sad 10 dollar refund didn’t even cover the restaurant’s mandatory delivery fee, and the prepaid tip imposed by grubhub. Food– cold and unedible. No apology and no phone call to let us know they were late. Do NOT recommend. Avoid.

Grill food is worth it! Bacon and Mac n cheese balls are nicely fried. All bartenders/​esses rock. No smoking in the bar, so if you care about that then you’re covered. Prices are average, not too high vs other local bars. Pool table will take your credit card too so you can keep paying to play me all night :) !

We almost didnt order food. The place screams neighborhood dive that will begrudgingly fry you off some soggy mozz sticks. But oh my would that have been a mistake! The BombBurger was outstanding. In n out + spicy + brioche + pastrami = yum.
Toss in a seen it all heart of gold bartender, $ 3.50 beers, pool table, and darts and youve got yourself a winner.
–1 star for atmosphere including an AC vent that slams you if you pick the wrong seat at the bat.

Had food delivered it came cold, greasy, and disgusting. Waited an hour and a half for the delivery. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from them again.

The place didn’t stand out. Besides how nice it looks outside. The inside is big, but its a dive bar. Nothing flashy. They did have an area 2 feet away from the bar with booths and tables. It’s in an odd location. There was lots of older people who all knew each other. So maybe there is something good about this place.
Although, perfect way to scam older well off folk.
My drinks sucked!
I’m not a heavy drinker (Atleast I’m not anymore) I get a buzz and very red warm cheeks with just one drink. It always happens.
I ordered cranberry vodka no ice (usual start off) and immediately I could tell there was pretty much nothing in there. Didn’t even stir.
Karaōke was going on in the center area. Lots of great singers!
One of the guy bartenders was talking to a older man. The older customer seemed to know him. He asked «what happened to this one? I liked the first one, but these last two?» I knew he was talking about cause That’s exactly what I was thinking.
Whatever, ordered a Bloody Mary just because I was feeling spicy. It was mediocre. Didn’t taste no alcohol. I was the youngest one there, so maybe the bartenders thought I would leave a shitty tip?
(Haha look at me complaining about alcohol)
I chugged that drink and bounced ended up drinking at home instead.

I use to love this spot until they gave me the wrong persons debit card. I understand mistakes happen, but when I called the next day to see if they have my card still the woman with green/​turquoise-​ish hair answered the phone had a terrible attitude. She was extremely rude and lacked any type of customer service skills.
Its a frustrating situation for all parties involved so next someone calls concerned about their card then you shouldn’t cut them off as you speak to them. The employees represent what type of business they are so she should think about that next time.

Walked in and expected a bigger spot but it was small. I sat by the bar and ordered beers and they were good but once we ordered food they took forever!!! The duke burger sliders I orders were good besides the fries they were small and greasy. Overall it was good the people were good and polite no drama, no scandal, no crazy screaming everything good!

Seriously my second home and I don’t even drink that much! Of course people that know me LOVE the bartender Megan! I mean she’s good at getting your drink out, and does so much for the place. It’s a good place if your looking for friendly people to enjoy with your beer and not creeps trying to hit on you (most of the regulars are married just trying to get a beer after work) if you also love karaōke like I do, best days to come down are Wednesday with Sean! Or Saturday (I don’t know who Djs Saturday since I rarely go on those days) but overall it’s a great place to make friends! You’d be surprise how most of us aren’t just raging alcoholics

I went there today… the bartender was nice got service with a smile… seemed like a great place to chill very relaxing I will definitely go back and will reccomend it to my friends

Redwood is way better than it ever was. Nicely renovated, decent décor, decent priced drinks, awesome bar tenders, Yummy bar food. This is the kind of bar where you’re always gonna hear Hotel California or Free Bird playing on the jukebox, guaranteed (kinda tired of those songs honestly, but they are standard bar songs haha) so what if it’s kinda dead during the day? I like it like that. It gets packed weekend nights tho that’s for sure. Sunday’s are free pool! I like the older crowds here. You want them annoying lames dancing around to an annoying DJ that plays that stupid siren every other song, get your ass to Rude Dogs.

The burgers are amazing. I ordered mine with three times the amount of bacon that would kill a normal person. I survived to write this review of it being one of the best burgers to ever enter my mouth. The bartender was extremely friendly and had our next drinks ready in a timely manner. I would come back as this is my kind of bar.

A great spot with a really good atmosphere! Only place I go for taco Tuesday, they have the best tacos ever! Try the quesadilla tacos too they are delicious! They have a wide selection of beers in the bottle and on the tap to give you plenty of options throughout the night! Monday night football is always packed there and I recommend the bacon wrapped street dogs and sliders while you’re watching the game! You can’t beat $ 6 for a bacon wrapped dog and a 16 ounce ice cold bud light! The bartenders are all very friendly and always have a good recommendation if you are not sure what you want to drink. I definitely recommend giving this place a try! Cheers

The door men seemed nice and welcoming. Walking in it presented like a low budget bar. The bartenders were rude, disrespect and unwelcoming! Which proved us right. We were paying customers just like the next person and others that walked up after us were served so apparently we didn’t exist. We waited over half hour before leaving to another bar that knows how to take care of their customers. Never again!

It’s your classic dive bar in Covina. They definitely cleaned it up a lot and remodeled since I had been there last (about 5+ years ago). You can tell they have a lot of regulars there. The bartender and bouncer were both very nice. It wasn’t as bad as I expected! They have dart boards and according to a friend of mine they also do karaōke!

The atmosphere is nice… There aren’t any weird looks from strangers when you walk in, which makes it a comfortable spot to just chill. The jalepeño poppers are really good & the fries are flavorful. A great selection of beer with a fully stocked bar. I really enjoyed the Bloody Mary… Not sure if they have a house made mix but it was pretty good!

Last night was my first time here, it’s a fun atmosphere. People come to chill, plenty of seating. There is also pool tables, dart station and those that love to Karaōke, yep there’s that too. I personally, do not like it but I enjoyed the peeps who got down on their singing and it was also a comedy show for those who can’t sing at all but tired it anyway, lol! It’s a good place to come and watch a sport event, plenty of screens. One of my pet peeves, is the restrooms… Only one stall for women & one for men. So, of course there is always a line in the women’s r.r.
Another negative thing about this place is there is no place to dance. I know it’s NOT a lounge or club but the way I see it, if you got great music playing, peeps will want to dance… Like ME!!! There should be a small area for happy feet peeps. I came for a Bday celebration and Bday girl was able to save some tables, I liked that. Will I come back, sure why not… Maybe I will see again those friendly peeps

Nice little joint needed a Bloody Mary after a Tamale at El Pavo. Bomb Bloody Mary with Extra Olives. I love this place in the morning and Mid Afternoon when it’s the calmer more quiet older crowd. Ya I’m an old fart already. Ha ha

This place sucked they have these young guys come in and play there wack music (thurs nights)
And act like we have to enjoy it maybe if we could hear your words over your loud music I could try and enjoy it. …
The bartender was a dick bought one drink the next I tryed getting was impossible was waiting for like 15 min then walked back and sat down seems like there is just a crowd that goes there and they all know each other
