Rip off– no matter what they say, their tv’s are useless and over rated. Cracked screen on day one. Don’t get sucked into buying insurance– another slithery snake sucking your money out of your wallet. Geek squad go to hell. Best buy banned for life! Trust me, never thought I’d get the better tv and insurance coverage at Walmart w a winning smile.

The Geek Squad is very poorly managed at this location. They are almost always understaffed and soooooo slow. Hey, Best Buy Covington, your Geek Squad is holding you down, man!

It’s a Best Buy. Know what you’re going in to look for, know about the products they sell, buy something online to pick up in the store, and you’ll be fine. Do NONE of those things and you may run into problems. They also price match, which is awesome. All you have to do is show them your phone. This location is in the midst of a big shopping area, so traffic and parking can get hectic. The employees are nice though from my visits, so I have no complaints. My last visit to this location was after I ordered a dvd for pickup at the store. When I went in on a Saturday, the customer service counter was packed with people who needed help with their computers/keyboards/dvd players. I was able skip the giant line and find a nice employee who was able to go to the cabinet of online orders and bring back my dvd. Other than that, all the other people in the line would probably improve their lives doing a google search than driving all the way to Best Buy, standing in line, and having some high school kid help them with their technology problem. I do favors for friends and family and request payment in beer. Maybe people prefer going to BB for help since they don’t need to bring beer, which is understandable.

After a long wait Jarrod helped me. He went above and beyond the call of duty! I highly recommend best buy to anyone. Because they have wonderful return policies and very nice customer service. I bought a roomba and an apple TV both of which I highly recommend as well!

I have always had good experiences here. Everytime I bought something the staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The ones who are not tech savvy would lead me to someone who was. The management have always tried to be helpful if a problem did occur. Buy from here always.

I have never liked Best Buy. First it is totally understaffed. Second, their staff is often clueless(blind leading the blind), third they are expensive. And try going to customer service to return the wrong product you bought as a result of bad advice. Bring a blanket and pillow.

I’ll call this«the continuing story of technophile Jill.» About 10% of the screen down the left side of the Lenovo idea pad became unresponsive. I returned it and got an Acer 10″ tablet that I like a lot aside from the weird charger. Anyway, everyone at Best Buy was great about returning the Lenovo, getting the Acer, going through several boxes if universal tablet chargers(none fit but I appreciated the effort), and returning a mouse that didn’t work. Also, the screen cleaner the gentleman back by the tablets recommended works great.

I love this place! With the opening of an Academy right across the interstate recently, this is heaven for me. In the past I have bought several electronics from this location. Always helpful staff. Just bought a new HDTV from here and the salesman took way too much time dealing with my wife and me. It’s sad that they don’t get commission, he definitely earned his pay dealing with us. The TV we decided on wasn’t in stock but the salesman took care of getting it ordered from their warehouse and setting up an appointment for the Geek Squad to come out to install it once it comes in. I’ve had nothing but good experiences at this location. They know how to take care of the customer. Even had them track down an iPod a few weeks back that I was looking for. It has gotten to the point that I don’t even shop around anymore. I usually do research on big ticket items and know what I want when I go into the store. I even had them match prices on items a few times. Yeah, I could have just gone to Wal-Mart where things are cheaper on some items. But why? I can get Best Buy to match the price, get the rewards points, and get killer financing. When was the last time you saw Wal-Mart offer 36 months interest free on anything. It’s worth the three mile drive past them to get to Best Buy. I keep hearing some financial people talk about them going the same route as Circuit City. I hope not.

Best Buy is a great place to buy electronics. The staff doesn’t get commissions, so there aren’t any high pressure sales tactics. I bought a new computer and television from this location. I have also purchased numerous electronic parts and accessories. Best Buy also sells phones and appliances. One bad experience I had was when I bought my new computer. The salesperson in the computer area pressured me to fill out an extended warranty form. I told him no and he advised me that I had to complete the form in order to purchase the computer. I top him that no one would force me to fill out anything, but he claimed they wouldn’t sell it to me without the form. Once I got to the register, there was no issue and I purchased the computer with no form.
