DEP’S Fine Wine & Spirits

Great place to stop at for booze and even better for growler filling! They are super reasonably priced and have excellent customer service. It can be a bit hard to find if you don’t know how to tuck behind the highway and their parking lot can be a bit of a cluster, but if I find I am downtown and in need of some bourbon/​a growler refill and dont want to deal with the nuttiness of the Party Source, this is a great hidden gem!

D.E.P’s is fantastic if you’re in search of a good to great bourbon selection! I was given the tip to go here by a customer of mine and boy was he right! Not only do they have a fantastic bourbon selection, it’s typically cheaper than your typical liquor store or the Party source.
It’s not a huge space and to be honest I didn’t really check anything else out as far as liquor is concerned. I did notice they had a few beers on tap that you can take your growler to be filled.
The workers were great and helpful with suggestions. D.E.P’s also has a free membership club that you can join for special offers, gifts, drawings, giveaways etc., the better customer you are, the more you get entered for things such as a bottle of Pappy and heavily sought after things like that. If you want a straightforward place to buy bourbon or other liquor I highly suggest this place. You and your wallet will be happy that you did so.

This place has amazing prices and a great selections on liquors, beer, and wine. Whenever we are in town, we always make it a point to stop here and pick up a few things we need, or want, to take back home. The workers are very nice and willing to answer any of you questions. I’m just impressed with the prices of their liquor, it’s always cheaper than anywhere else and they still have quality products. They also have a very nice wine selection and we were super excited to see that they are now carrying Blue Rock wine. This is a great store with great prices and products.

DEPs Covington is always our go-​to. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they don’t try to sell you the higher priced bottles just because. For our wedding, we ordered all of our beer, liquor, and wine there and got a far better deal than any of the other local liquor stores could provide. We were able to return any unopened alcohol (but we decided to just keep it instead!) and it was easy to work with Alfonse to figure out some more creative libations, as well as standard drinks for our friends who prefer light beer over craft beer. We also wanted to get one bottle of wine to age 5 years, and we were planning on spending at least $ 50 for something that would hold up. Alfonse pointed out an $ 18 bottle, and when we said, «Wow! That’s it!?» he told us that it is a great wine and we didn’t need to spend $ 50, when we could spend $ 18 and get one just as good. That’s my kind of place!
They have great specials all the time, especially on wines. If you’re unsure what you would like, usually you can find someone who can talk you through it. They also have end of season clearance sales on beer when it’s nearing the end of its prime. You can usually pick up a decent case of craft beer for around $ 12 during these! Yes, that’s $ 0.50 per beer!
We love DEPs and would go there even if we didn’t live right down the street. The prices and people are unbeatable.
