I have to say BUYER BEWARE! My husband who is at the age were his arms arent long enough to hold reading material so that he can see the letters went here to have his eyes checked. He was very happy with the dr. there and they gave him good treatment for some issues he was having with his eyes. However as far as getting glasses goes they really ripped him off. All he needed was the weakest readers from any drugstore and instead of telling him that they talked him into a pair of 240 dollar glasses! And that doesnt even count the money they will get from our insurance! To be fair my husband doesnt know about these things and i let him go alone, so my bad. If you decide to use them question, question, question!!! I am giving them 2 stars for medical care only

I found this place on my providers list for the Davis Vision discount program. I am so glad I checked my list again, because the three places closest to me in Hammond have such a limited stock of frames. This place is definitely worth the 20 minute drive! It’s conveniently located in the Pinnacle Nor Du Lac shopping center bewteen Kohl’s and Hobby Lobby. They stay open until 7pm and accept late appointments. Their sign actually says «walk ins welcome.» I won’t need to take any sick time for eye exams from now on!
I have had several different eyecare providers in the recent years, but I was most impressed with Dr. Dinh. She is very thorough and provided a lot of insight on top of answering every question I had. She was very patient, warm, and friendly. She actually had a sample lenses for me to wear to make sure the prescription will be comfortable.
It was quite fun to try on different frames. There were so many to consider! They have something for all budgets and face shapes. I have a wide face, and I was so grateful for a selection of more than just five to try on. I asked for recommendations, and they spent at least half an hour helping me find the right one. They had already looked up my insurance before my arrival, so it was great to already know what my insurance allowances were and follow a budget. I have received many compliments on my glasses. These really fit my face and the style I picked was from their recommendation. It’s a fresh look!
They put the glasses together in house after the lenses come in. I was very happy with how fast they were finished despite it being ordered during the Christmas holidays. I will definitely be returning at the end of the year for my annual exam. I hope more people will hear about this place and give it a chance. You may not see it from the interstate because of the restaurants blocking the view from the front, but it’s there!
