By far the rudest bartenders ever! And don’t wait to close out at 1:50am because they’ll already have you closed out with 25% added to the bill. Oh and the DJ? A 5 year old could do a better job. Sucks that sidebar was such great bar and now this place…

Worst bar in Covington. No question. You’re sure to have every bad experience you can possibly have at this bar. Bad service, overcharging for drinks, drunk bartenders, god-awful cover bands playing butt rock and nu-metal… There’s even a 15 dollar minimum on credit cards. What fucking century is this? That’s the sleaziest of cheap-ass rip-off tactics, usually only found in crusty strip clubs. I wish I could have my memory wiped so I could forget that I’ve ever been to this place.

I’m kind of lost for words on this place. I was a regular at Sidebar and was DEVASTATED when that place closed. I live in the area so a great dive bar is what I am looking for around here so I was excited about Forum opening up. Let me tell you… I am sooo confused about this bar. They call themselves a nightclub but they are never open past 1am because of problems with their liquor license. Their beers on tap have dwindled down to 2 as all the rest are always out and never replace them. Their liquor behind the bar is slowly dwindling. Could it be that the owners are there every night drinking with their friends? To me it seems like a big party place for them and their friends as it seems poorly managed or just going out of business. Which leads me to the crowd. Boy is it great to sit back and people watch. Seems to be very ‘alternative’ and ‘grungy’ lately, far different from all the other bars and restaurants in the area. It’s almost as if this place belongs at Jersey Shore… On a better note… LOVE some of the bartenders!!! Great customer first mentality and they really know how to interact with the customers to make it more friendly. The weekend is always packed because of bands playing but I REFUSE to pay cover at the door! That is ridiculous! On Thursdays they have a DJ which plays AMAZING mixes equivalent to Girl Talk but the laser show is the last thing I had in mind for a Thursday night at my age. I will continue to go there since it’s in the neighborhood but I won’t be surprised if it closes shortly due to bad management and the crowd it attracts.

Stopped in to hear some live music and get a bite to eat. Gran Bel Fisher was playing and they were fabulous! We order pork medallions, and they were out of this world! We had no intentions of staying all night, but we did! We will definitely be back in! I highly recommenced checking this place out!

We came here on a Saturday night around 8pm. It was an unpleasant experience right away. It took forever to get drinks. How hard can it be to pour two draft beers? It definitely shouldn’t take 10 minutes when there’s less than 20 customers in the bar at the time. You could tell the employees don’t get along. They were extremely slow and even unprofessional. At one point a server sat down at an empty table to casually respond to text messages. The chef was out on the floor flirting with numerous customers. There was a band setting up while we were there. We were attempting to watch a game on the tv but our view was instantly obstructed by an insane number of speakers. While we were there we witnessed an employee go into the basement and bring a frozen bag of French fries into the kitchen. We did not try the food but after seeing this we certainly weren’t in the mood to try anything. We ended up going to a bar across the street after we left.

I used to dine at Sidebar, and when it closed I was bummed. Now I’m happy to see Forum in this location. The food is really good and the service is also great. I recommend the build your own pasta dishes as well as the chicken parmigiana sandwich. They have happy hour specials too. On the weekend, you’ll find a lot of people here ready to party and have a great time. My only gripe is that smoking is allowed. Oh well… it’s KY, what can you do? I recommend liking Forum on facebook to stay informed about special events and musicians performing. I also recommend leaving your jacket in the car otherwise it will smell like smoke ;)

Meat plate appetizer. Cheese, meat, toasted Focaccia — fun, good. Gnocchi Mac-n-Cheese — tasty, filling, satisfying. Pork medallions — risotto, peas with red onions. Very good The place looks like the predecessor restaurant, same beer choices or similar.(Sidebar). Hard wood floors with a Touch Tunes Juke Box, two floors, not crowded on the night of an ice storm. Brick walls and columns, friendly staff — the food is a huge upgrade from Sidebar. Sidebar had excellent bar food: burgers, pizza tater tots. But, the moderately priced fare is what you would expect in an upscale restaurant. I intend to come back.

A welcome addition to the neighborhood! We came in for lunch and were very pleased! FANTASTIC food! Try the fried ravioli — comes with 2 delicious sauces. I had the chicken parm sandwich. Awesome! Juicy chicken with a nice sauce! Comes with Tuscan fries that are awesome w/the aioli! Give it a try — great food and beer on tap! We will be back!
