H&R Block

Death, taxes, and upset stomach after a night of raging like a college kid are things we wish could avoid, but sadly cannot. Alas, the pain and discomfort of taxes can be somewhat alleviated by businesses such as H&R Block. Unfortunately the convenience of having someone else do your taxes comes at a price (they area business ya know) and I will most likely be doing my taxes myself next year.* That being said, if you want the assurance that your taxes are correct and that you are getting any and all deductions, tax services like this one are a godsend.
Some highlights of my interaction: free coffee and water while you wait. Small perk, but still a perk. The tax pro I met with was also free with tax advice on setting up a small business that I may be considering. One is able to pay Uncle Sam via electronic check (have your routing number and account # handy) Paying H&R can be done with a credit card.
*There are numerous places where one can get free tax advice such as libraries and other non profits. Definitely seek those out if you are not able to afford
*Have previous years tax returns/​documents as they provide free analysis to see if you might be entitled to amendments and refunds. Cool
