We bought our home back in 2011. It had a septic system inspection that failed. We called HIL Septic to try and get it repaired. What I loved about them was that they didn’t immediately try to sell me a new $ 20K septic system like other companies did. They knew that I wouldn’t buy the home if it needed a new system and they knew how much we wanted the home. They did everything they could to repair the system. They Pumped the tank, replaced the drain line from the septic to the distribution box, replaced the old broken concrete distribution box with a new plastic one. Jetted and cleaned one of three drain field runs. Dug down and repaired the 2nd drain field line(tree root damaged it) and then performed another final inspection. In a hectic time of buying a home, HIL worked with us around all the obstacles. ONTOPOFALLTHAT, they went over to my parents home and replaced their septic tank pump with another newer used pump they had ATNOCHARGE! Absolutely amazing. They are the ones we will be calling for all our septic needs. THANKYOU

I was referred to Hil to get an inspection of my septic system before the sale of my house. I wasn’t present for the inspection, but was informed the heavy concrete lid over the tank was unsafely left off. I left a message asking why and if there was a problem and was told by my tenants that a couple came and replaced the cover. I also learned that the two workers performing the work were unprofessional and bummed cigarettes off my tenants. I was emailed an invoice almost before the work was done but heard nothing about the result, leaving me to assume it was fine. I had to contact them a week and a half later after I was informed by the septic pumper that the system had failed and I would be required to hook up to city sewer. When I contacted Hil, they were flustered, and Julie the owner told me her secretary had quit and they had assumed she had sent me the report and details. It took four days for Julie to finally email me the report. Because I didn’t trust them and felt they might be lying to attain further business, I had the system dug up by a septic designer and assessed and it tested fine when we performed the test even before we made some minor repairs. I then arranged for another licensed inspector to inspect it and once again the system passed. Their practices are disorganized, unprofessional, and dishonest. Don’t Use Them!
