Homewood Suites Covington

Clean, friendly, great rooms, great breakfast! Price was decent too.

A few years ago when this property was newer, it was my first choice when on the Northshore. Going forward, I will avoid the property — period. The rooms have become dingy, the housekeeping is below average and the breakfast has moved closer to Hampton Inn than Hilton Garden Inn. The desk staff is pleasant but since I’m here for the room and amenities, they can do little to persuade me that this neglected hotel is worth the money.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful lobby and interior. Service was above and beyond. Spacious rooms with two nice HDTVs and a nice kitchen area. Great breakfast included. Planning to revisit this hotel soon.

Been coming to the North Shore for well over 10 years… THIS is the best hotel here. It is quiet… it is CLEAN… and it is very comfortable. It is «suite» style, which is great when traveling a lot. Huge king bed, bathroom a few steps away. Nice desk for writing reviews on Unilocal with free wireless. All good so far. TV and couch for more space for relaxing. I loved the kitchen! When I travel to LA, I like to bring back some of the great cuisine. This is your answer to no ice on checked bags — just buy frozen, or freeze it in the hotel room! Full sized frig with freezer. Dishwasher, sink, micro, and small electric stove, too. It has all the utensils too. Pots, silverware, etc. I will try the food and breakfast later in my stay… it will not change the score. After staying at Courtyard, Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, and Comfort Inn; this is the place. I have come here the last two visits.

Nice and clean. New. Hard to find! Had to call the front desk for directions, because it’s tucked away behind a car dealership. Great pool for a motel/​hotel. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

This is my new favorite hotel in Covington! I really hope this chain is the same way everywhere. You get free breakfast [today I had rainbow sprikles donuts with my cereal!!], you get free Wifi, free Happy Hour [good wine selection] and free afternoon food [pizzas, pasta, sandwiches]. Rooms are super nice and spacious with it’s own kitchen.
Staff is suuuuper friendly.

This is the nicest hotel on the Northshore.
The rooms are all suites. A large bed, small kitchen area and sitting area with flat screen are in each room.
The outside area has a small, nice pool for guests to use. There is a large sitting are in the lobby and during breakfast, there is a great free breakfast.
This hotel is designed for travelers and would be great for a brief or extended stay.
If you need a hotel in the Mandeville/​Covington area, this should be your place.
