I scheduled service with these folks. I was called letting me know that they would be showing up soon and sure enough they did. The tech went to start working on the problems when he received a call from his boss who pulled him from the job. The tech left and when I called his boss, he explained that they didn’t have time for me. I was left completely miffed. Strangest interaction with contractors I have ever had. Needless to say I do not think these guys deserve your money. Don’t use them.

I took a day off work to wait at my mother’s house for these guys to come give her a quote on replacing her AC unit, after speaking with a rep at Costco. They showed, early even. This gave me a false sense of hope. They refused to give me a paper quote, spouting some BS line about not being able to explain it on paper, compared to phone. I let this slide at first, because I assumed they would follow up and contact us. Ive now spent a week on her behalf trying to track down the rep/company, even contacting Costco — and it has been a total fruitless waste of my time. Super pissed off — particularly at the otherwise reputable Costco

My AC went out earlier this summer and I had 4 different companies come out to give me quotes on a new central air unit. I called Costco to see what I could get from them and shortly afterwards John Snowden from Knochelman(A Service Experts company) called me and made an appointment to come check it out. Not only was he on time, he was VERY thorough and professional! He measured every single room and all of the windows and calculated the correct«residential load calculation» and determined that my previous unit was oversized by ½ ton and fully explained to me how he came up with this calculation and what it means and why it matters. I did some follow up research and discovered that everything he said was correct. As I said earlier, I had 4 other quotes, 3 of which were lower, so I called John up and asked if he would be willing to meet the lowest quote and after a consultation with his manager they did. The installers were on time, conscientious and worked their butts off on what was one of the hottest days of the year, they cleaned up everything and by the afternoon the house was cooling down! And I still get my $ 400 Costco cash card, and they threw in a 5 year maintence agreement for free! I would call them back in a heartbeat and I highly recommend them!

Just let me start here, I am a member of Costco which I love Costco. You know when you go in and you see this old guy. By the way he tells the same stories a lady got $ 393 from Duke and Costco sent her $ 1000 rebate .I already knew that! so I Pick up a brochure, because my AC was acting up . So he takes my name, Of course a sales rep calls me immediately .“The first time“ His name was JOHNSNOWDEN, we made an appointment came out to my house He did inspect everything, so John presented me with a MENU presentation trying to close me. he started with a higher model at $ 10,000 then $ 8300 Never presented different option, I had to asked don’t you have a 15 seer unit with high efficient one? he says oh its a little Higher, Ive already done my research, I already knew every single models even know every unit its DB rating. John SNOWDEN was not honest, He forgot I am an expert in sales training I train sales people to be a closers. So I asked if he can work with me, he said he can’t get to my budget, Ive gotten some quotes for ½ of the price he gave me. He was supposed to call me, he never called me back. Then I was thinking what If I had a problem with this company, are they going to take care of me? Just to tell you John you are a horrible REP, You lost my business ‚ And by the way LENNOX at Costco that you see their units START from $ 7600 to close to $ 15000,Ive got a Frigidaire 16SEERS for $ 5100 installed, super happy Shop around, don’t deal with this guys they are a rip off. I am about to call Costco too

My gas furnace went out on Cincinnati’s first sub-zero day(November, 2013). I called Knochelman because of they used to be known as Cincinnati’s premier locally owned HVAC service provider. Unfortunately, they are no longer locally owned and their service is awful. I called for help at around noon. I was told that I would be the next to get service. I did not get a call from a service technician until 7PM to tell me that he was on his way.

They called again! And I asked what the hell I have to do to get off their call list. The response was the same«We can take you off our list but it takes 31 days to process.» When I said that I’ve been asking to be removed for three months, they couldn’t answer that. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that there wasn’t available. This is unacceptable! Dave M., you said a month ago you would escalate this. If this is escalating a problem, I would hate to see what happens when you don’t escalate the problem. As promised, I will be filing a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry and the KY Attorney General’s office.
