This location is notorious for having expired items on the shelf. I’ve purchased several items on different locations without realizing it. From this day forward I will check the date in every single item I purchase. It’s annoying and frustrating to keep having yo experience such poor service. Clearly the stockers and inventory clerks SUCK!!!

The Kroger on Salem Road in Covington has pissed me off because they weren’t accommodating to their customers by opening up additional lines when customers were getting backup to the grocery food aisles.
They had one normal checkout lane and two express lanes (fifteen items or less) and six self checkout scanners.
They are usually real good about monitoring the crowd to open up more checkout lanes.
Today they were just looking away and minding their own business. Kroger I guess had too much going on this evening. It would seem someone would have noticed a few customers going over to the self checkout area with full carts.

Covington, GA
Store is clean and people are pleasant for the most part. I have been disappointed at times even they didn’t have something. However, I like this Kroger more than the one on 278.
