Merry Maids

Hire these guys if you want the least thorough cleaning experience $ 250 has ever purchased.
I had just moved into a new home and the previous owner left it a bit of a mess. I called Merry Maids and asked for a full house clean, and was considering using them after that to keep the house up. Big mistake. I came home after cleaning and found an «It’s Clean» sign sitting on my stairs next to a large pile of dust, dirty vents, and only steps away from a bathroom and closet that hadn’t been even touched. The kitchen floor was still not clean, nor were any corners, baseboards, light switches, the fridge, or anything. Basically $ 250 bought me someone who came over and swept and mopped lightly.
I obviously complained and they sent someone back over to address the issues. I come home again and find only some of the problems addressed, the rest weren’t touched. I just said screw it, paid them, and cleaned it myself.
Save yourself the time and effort. Apparently the only way to get your house clean is to stand over the person cleaning and point out the dirty areas, and if you’re going to do that much work you might as well clean it yourself.

I’ve been using Merry Maids for the past few months. So far, they’ve done an amazing job.
You can schedule weekly or biweekly cleanings. The first visit is a way more pricy than the subsequent cleanings because they prepare your house for «maintenance» cleaning.
After the initial cleaning, my house looked like new.
The service is thorough. They clean the windows, floors, baseboards, steps, bathrooms, microwave, tops of the fridge. pretty much everything I never got around to… They also empty all the garbage in your trash cans and take it with them.
I have them come every other week, and that is enough to keep our house looking nice.
The best part is not having to waste part of the weekend worrying and cleaning my messy house. My hubs and I never argue about who needs to do what job. It’s been well worth the money.
