My boyfriend lives in Covington and for the longest time we had issues with the hours at the Kroger down the street. We decided to try Save-​A-​Lot one day when the Kroger was closed and since then we have been sold.
I will say that I don’t buy everything from here — some things I want name brands for but overall they have great prices for most of my grocery shopping. They also have a great deal where you can get 5 items of meat for 20 dollars. That deal got me through the grilling season this summer!
Definitely a good option and usually has the cheapest gas in that area if you are just looking for a new gas station instead of a new grocery store!
