Eating here is like eating at my grandma’s house. The warm feeling I get when greeted by the owners makes me feel I just entered their home and I will get a delicious home cooked meal. I’ve had the best sandwiches here. The curly fries are fantastic and my kids can’t get enough of the mozzarella sticks. I personally love the crabcake sandwich. After a delicious home cooked meal I reccomend to finish it off with the fresh baked goods. The pies are Amazing! And if you are not in the mood for a baked dessert, they have really good icecream with a big variety of flavors. The prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere very casual. The owners have a natural gift to make you feel welcomed and your stomach extremely happy.

As we passed this restaurant I saw a «homemade pies and bakery» on their sandwich board so we stopped. I’m glad we did, even though we had lunch an hour earlier.
We only had pie, pecan and raspberry ala mode, but we really enjoyed the restaurant. It was a small (10 table?) rustic place across the street from the lake on the main drag. It looked like a couple ran it, the wife in the kitchen and the husband serving.
The pies were excellent and the food on the other tables looked great and abundant.
I wish we had had a chance to eat a full meal there.

A very comfortable motel to stay with great home cooking! Very nice family place with reasonable prices. They make a great breakfast-​it takes a good cook to make scrambled eggs that aren’t dry.
