My 86 year old mother broke her wrist and I was given the name and number of this practice by the Emergency Room. The person in scheduling has no right working with the public. She was rude from the beginning of the call until the end. After a total of three phone calls, I did get an appointment the following morning at the Cranberry Township location. By the way, this location does not have handicap access into the building which is ridiculous for a building with doctor’s offices inside! The morning of the appointment, I was unable to get mom into my vehicle because she was in too much pain to cooperate. The end result was we both were on the ground in her driveway. I was there intentionally trying to break her fall. I then managed to get to my cell phone to call 911 for help. While waiting for them, I called what I thought was the Cranberry office, but I now know they have one central number. The first words I said were«Please don’t put me on hold as I am in my mother’s driveway with her on my feet» and I was immediately put on hold. When somebody did pick up, I again repeated those words and said I needed to report we would be late for her appointment and I was again put on hold! By this time, the ambulance came so I hung up. The EMS person and a policeman lifted my mom off the ground and into my van. Now I had to figure out how I would get her out once I arrived at the office. With the help of the EMS, we got her wheelchair into my vehicle. At this point, the doctor’s office called me back to see why I hung up! I explained what was going on and stated that I also have a disability and would need help getting her into the building. I was told they are too busy to help. Fortunately, shortly after I arrived at the building, a young woman taking her own mother to a different doctor’s office within the building offered to help and we were able to get mom inside. Once there, Dr. Drabicki was very nice, but I will never go back there again after mom’s wrist is healed. I hope this practice gets enough negative reviews that they realize they have a major problem! I was finally able to get the aid of another family member to help me get her out of the building and back home.
