I can always count on Michaels to have the crafting/project supplies I need.

I have visited this store dozens of times over the years. And until I started visiting and using the Michaels in Monaca, I wasn’t away of how different store could be. See the review re Monaca. I thought I might use both stores for my wall art projects. So I tried this one for the framing shop. Radically different level of friendliness and help. Indeed, I almost paid double for nearly identical frames until I spotted the alternative on the wall… the Monaca shop would have helped me understand the sales and what, if any, differences in the frames might have been. The store framing area is fine by all standards. But it is NOT nearly as good as the Monaca store. Most merchandise is the same, and in a few areas, this store has a wider selection. But for me, customer service is first and foremost. Lesson learned: not all same name places are the same. Staffing, hiring, training, store working culture — all can make radical differences in customer experience. f8 and be there.

After multiple frustrating shopping experiences at Michael’s in the Waterfront, I was so impressed by my shopping experience here. I wanted to purchase pom-poms for a bridal shower along with some sort of wire to hang them from the ceiling. I stumbled upon an employee while looking at the pom-poms, and she helped me with the whole purchase experience. She confirmed that an open package of pom-poms did indeed hold all of the items needed(yay for nothing missing!) and also guided me to the mono-filament in the jewelry-making section after I asked for«clear wire.» I would have never, ever checked this section of the store for the product that I needed and greatly appreciated her guiding the way. I will definitely be back here next time I’m working on a crafty project!

This place has a ton of stuff you probably never knew they carried. During the holidays not only did they have crafts, but they had stocking stuffers, candles, personalized framing, and a ton of other odds and ends. I happened to stop here one night after 7 and they were having a 70 percent off sale night event. I walked out with two bags full of stuff for only 14 dollars. They always send you coupons if you sign up online for you to use on your purchase. Their coupons usually do not have a million disclaimers and can be used on practically anything in the store. The parking here is always enough to give you a headache. The store is at the end of the plaza and you almost get ran over as cars speed through to race to the nearby liquor store. the associates in the store are nice and friendly.
