Extra Space Storage

The people there were absolutely incredible and helpful. As for the service, some of their storage is not located at the main location and is 5 miles away which is crazy, but they have similar storage options available at the main site. They honored my internet pricing even though I didn’t take the unit which I had reserved over the internet. I know that’s not that big a deal, but not everyone does that, ya know? I’ve used their facility 3 times since I rented the storage space and each time it was easy to access my locker.

I have spent years storing my stuff at the climate controlled building on Pleasant Hill. The location was clean and the access to the building had both a drive-​in ramp and a truck loading dock with an adjustable deck level.
The staff was always friendly and always there to answer my questions. They also have a great selection of box sizes for packing or shipping. I used my unit for my business and did a lot of shipping and receiving, so having boxes and shipping material right at the office was very convenient. I have used this site for nearly a decade and the only reason I left this site is because I recently moved my business further south in NJ and it was no longer convenient. But I know I will return to this site should I move back to the area.
Clean, convenient, friendly staff and a great selection of packing products! Wish the facility I currently have such convenient access to my unit.

I was taken aback that my storage facility was in a slightly different location.
It’s only a mile away but would have been nice to have known sooner.
The more disturbing thing was that you were required to buy insurance which adds an additional $ 10+ monthly.
Then they tell you that you need a lock for your storage. Had I been informed sooner, I would have brought one from home. They sell their proprietary locks for about $ 15. Instead I drove up to CVS to get one for $ 4.
The storage facility was clean and the staff was kind.
But would have been a better experience if I had known sooner about the hidden costs.

Unit was clean upon move in. I was not told that the alarm in the unit was not wired, I found out myself. Unit was fixed but this property is not fence secured. They told a fence is being put in soon. Do not recommend until fencing is done
