Their food is absolutely amazing. The service is great and I’ve yet to have a bad meal there. Their wings are also really good. And it’s so reasonably priced.

Food is pretty darn good. Guys were cool. Took a forkful of pasta salad from the container and what do I find in my mouth? AND OLD USED STAPLE. Are you kidding me?!

I ordered chicken sub and it tasted just right — fresh and tasty. It was just what I needed.

Terrible. I ordered an Italian sub with extra oregano, salt, pepper, lettuce hot peppers, and etc. I got none of the extra that I ordered and my boyfriend got my extra salt, pepper, and hot peppers in his sandwich. Also he just had a thin layer of meat with my extra pepper, salt, and hot peppers in his sandwich. No lettuce, no tomatoes – nothing else was in his sandwich. I ordered online so everything I wanted was properly stated on their copy of the receipt. It was good food, but I can’t believe they didn’t give us anything we ordered.

Hands down, best breakfast wrap ever. Try the chipotle wrap. Ahhhhhmazing. Great service!

Best subs/​sandwiches in the area! Can get crowded around lunchtime, but they staff accordingly to handle it. Call ahead or order online they’ve got it all. They make pretty good breakfast sandwiches and wraps too.

Best place for subs! Boars Head meats is only what I eat and this place rocks! Service is stellar! Owner, Nemo, is always present ensuring a great experience every time! Bread is always fresh as is the meats! I visit at least 3 times per week!

Never disappoints! I try to stick to local places that make all their food from scratch — enter Mr Subs. The guys are always nice and service is great. Food is awesome. I’ve had their chicken cutlet specials for a couple years now and occasionally their potato salad. Not once has my experience been less than stellar. Highly recommend for work lunch or a quick bite.

Got a bunch of subs from Mr. Sub for a tailgate, they were a big hit. The Mr. Sub is delicious. Others got the Oven Roasted Turkey & the Italian. All were a big hit. Definitely will check out Mr. Sub again.

We are a faithful customer of Mr. Subs Cranbury since the day they opened ordering on average 3 times per week — never delivery always pick up since we are very close by. The meat is Boar’s Head, Bread is Fresh, location is clean and normally their customer service is excellent. But for the first time ever, my experience left much to be desired,
Today we ordered one of our smallest orders ever — a plain cheesesteak and a ½ Italian Sub. When I picked up they gave me one correct sandwich and one sandwich was wrong. When I called advised and this happened they said I could pick up a new sandwich or they would give me a credit for tomorrow. I advised there was no way I could leave the office again could they deliver I was told they could not (this is a shop that advertises delivery). As regular, good customers I would have expected better.

what can i say about this place… the food is always fresh and the service is great. they constantly change their specials and honestly they make one of the best subs i have had. Their «chefs special» wrap is my favorite thing on the menu… all of their servings are huge and the product they serve is consistent.

got sandwiches here a couple of times, the Italian #5 combo was good, sliced the meat while you’re there and your choice of toppings.
I ordered the sandwich in person the last time, the place is clean & the workers are friendly.
So why the 2 stars, it is due to sanitary issue that might not bother others but it did me. The person that prepared the topping of my sandwich wore gloves but he was also the cashier and took my money with his gloves on and went back to making sandwiches again without changing them so no thank you.
I threw my sandwich out after I got home, over reaction, maybe, but not worth the chance of getting sick!
Too bad, I thought I found a go to place for a quick meal.

First let me start with what they are doing right. Food is actually very good, and the wraps are on point! That being said the only real criticism I have for them is that during rush hours they are not organized, and their work flow leave something to be desired. During the business week, especially during lunch hours, we only have limited time, and need to get back quickly. 2 simple changes would make a world of difference from a customers point of view. First you need to create 2 distinct lines for cold and hot food. Secondly, collect payment at that time. It is just to frustrating to have to stand in line again just to pay. Once I’m done eating, I’m ready to leave, and get back to work. I’m assuming lack of space is the reasoning for this, but as business owners that will be up to you to create the solution. An idea could be if you to consider getting an app, and/​or setting up iPads at the tables to take orders. Or something simple as having an employee of the other side of the counter taking orders from a different location in the eating area. Either way, I’m sure to continue to patronage your establishment, but would appreciate it if you could recognize the problems, and look to create solutions.

Stopped here to get a quick meal and was pleasantly surprised at how fresh and clean the preparation was. Really nice tomatoes and lettuce, and everything was sliced fresh. Nice friendly staff, just about the best looking sub I have ever had.

Really friendly people, fresh ingredients, many choices and create your own sub. Variety of chips and drinks. The one complaint I had was that the bread wasn’t very good. It’s too soft /​gets soggy and has no taste. Only had the option of white bread. Other than that everything was great.

Order left, pay right for excellent fresh subs (hoagies? grinders? whatever :). An 8-​inch sub is just $ 6, respectably large, far too much lunch for just me. Great local place for a sammich, a better choice than the big chains.
Plenty of tables to sit and enjoy, friendly fast service too.
Vegetarian rating: 1 star, there’s a cheese sub and not much else; a breakfast burrito might do.
I’m a fan of the industrial design gone wild at Mr. Subs, lots of corrugated metal, wood tables on I-​beams and black-​iron pipe. Not your standard Formica booths lol

Growing up in the Freehold area, no one could ever match Sorrento’s Subs. That being said, Mr. Subs rules Cranbury/​Monroe and probably every other town where they have a store. These are great subs in a nice eating environment with great staff. I had a honey turkey sub and adored it. Great bread, ample portion of delicious honey turkey and very fresh veggies to top it off. Highly recommended.

Large subs, good tasting could have used more vinegar though. Reminded me of tastee subs in Edison.

IMO, this is a hipper, nicer, cleaner, and friendlier staffed version of Tastee’s. They use boar’s head meat and cheese, the bread is very soft (which is how I like my sandwich bread), and the ingredients all taste great. I got an Italian sub and my fiancé got a cheese sub, we were both supremely pleased with our food! They’re half runs 8″ (compared to the standard 6″), and whole I think is 14″ but I’m not sure since we just got halves.
Oh, and they even do hot subs, something Tastee’s (in my mind their top competitor and probably what they based themselves off of) does not do. Definitely worth checking out if you work/​live in the area.

I had seen the grand opening sign from the road so I decided to give it a try that weekend. My girlfriend and I shared an Italian sub. we both agreed it was really good. The bread was fresh and soft. The meat is great, I’m pretty sure they use Boars Head brand meats. nice décor and the staff was very friendly. And best of all… The price was great! They also have hot sandwiches and I think I saw a few tables/​chairs to dine in as well. I see this place being a hit as long as people know they are there. I’m not sure if they have delivery or not. However, I do think they would benefit from a delivery service due to the location. We will be back!
