Really good, fresh Italian food. Drinks are awesome, décor is cozy and lovely on the left side of the restaurant and near the bar. We go often. Highly recommend.

Consistently the best food from the complimentary antipasto to a wonderful arugula salad with prosciutto and Marconi almonds. Entrees like chicken with broccoli rabe risotto, pork osso buco, chicken Marsala all large portions, served steaming hot and delicious. And now they have added the best bus girl to their staff who is charming attentive and efficient.

Never a bad meal! Osso Bucco and anything with their red sauce is always a hit. Went for a holiday and a member of our family was hit in the face with a chair by an idiot bus boy. All we got was an I’m sorry. Food is otherwise fantastic.

Food was excellent. Service, not so much. The atmosphere might have been very nice, if it wasn’t so cold in the place. My wife was freezing, and all the other women in the place had their coats on. It was a rather chilly day for late April, but you still need to make the place warm enough to be comfortable. Iced tea was expensive and no refills, and the glass contained more ice than anything. The Italian bread was typical, but cold when it should have been warm. The food was excellent. I had Veal Parmesan and my wife had Chicken Marsala. Both were very good, even if they were a bit pricy for the $$ rating. The problem was with the service. Our waiter was a man who looked to be in his twenties. He spoke so softly that he was difficult to hear. It almost bordered on creepy. He offered very little help in our selection, and had no dishes that he noted as personal favorites, even though we asked. Our dinner took a long time to arrive; all the parties around us who ordered after we did were served long before we were. After we were served, he never appeared in the room again until we were finished eating. We had to ask the young lady refilling out water if she would get us some additional red sauce for our pasta. This should not happen at a place that is supposed to be famous in the area for Italian dining.

Best Chicken parm in the state of RI. Antonio’s is one of my favorites! Be sure to try chicken escrow, clams al forno, pork osso bucco, and the banana bread pudding.

One of my favorites. Service is impeccable and the food is absolutely amazing. Prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of free parking. I’ve been several times and enjoyed the different meals each time. Never have I felt rushed out.

Still a big fan of Antonio’s but I went to place a to go order but they were not open yet. The guy that answered the phone the first time and he would check to see it they could make my order even though they were but open yet. He came back and said they could not. No big deal . This happened at 3 and they said they open at 4. I called back at 3:45 to see if I could place my order. Another ignorant kid answered the phone and he said they open at 4:30 not 4 then hung up. Very unprofessional. If you have ever been there you will no the person I am talking about. He is the young host that has absolutely no personality or manners. He has to be a relative because I see no other reason for time working there. When to Vesuvius right down the street and the food was very good with no attitude.

Really nice atmosphere and very good food. For apps we had the Clams Zuppa, Calamari, and Antipasto plate. The Zuppa sauce came with some toasty bread for mopping up a very tasty red sauce. The Calamari was cooked perfectly. The Antipasto came with a few select Italian meets, shaved parmesan, roasted red peppers and olives. For dinner we had the Osso Buco and Eggplant. The Osso Buco came with a sweet potato hash that was terrific. The plate was very large and I’d recommend splitting it with someone. The eggplant was the real star though. Thinly sliced eggplant layered high with melted mozzarella in between each layer. Really great.

Stumbled on Antonio’s last night and had an excellent experience. There were three of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. One had the chicken with risotto which was very good, another had chicken parm and I had the house made ravioli with rollatini. Sauce was delicious. Mine could have been a little hotter but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Our waiter was excellent. He clearly knew the menu in depth. Dessert was a trio of great things that I can’t remember the contents of but the wither knew everything by heart. I’d definitely go back if I am in the area again.

What a wonderful meal we had at Antonio’s! We had no reservation and they fit us right in. We sat in the back room and had really top notch service from a professional waiter. He made good wine recommendations and knew the menu like the back of his hand. We started with maybe, really, the best salad I have had in years. Super thin sliced beets, chiffonade of spinach, whipped burrata mozzerella, hazelnuts — so amazing. Then I had a seafood fra diavlo over cappellini which was outstanding. Giant shrimp and scallops and a perfectly spiced sauce. My partner had chicken parmesan and said it was the best he’d ever had. All in all an A+ dinner.

A disgrace to the Italian community. Never have I seen incompetence in seating a family of 3. From the thousands of fine Italian restaurants from Manhattan to Boston, Antonio restaurant disgraced the wife and daughter. Reservations made for 3, and two other parties one with two woman and the other with 4 individuals with the same 800pm reservation where seated ahead of us due to familiarity and the Italian name. I may not have an Italian name, but married into the familia. «I’m sorry, I can’t place of party of 3 into a table of 4» was the excuse given. For a European family that is enjoy the fine art of dinning g out, Antonio Restaurant in Cranston will never get one of my dimes and they should not get yours. How would your daughter, wife or date feel after this experience. Terrible disgrace to be called an Italian restaurant.

UWe had a lot of issues and would never go back… here is the list: 1. We called to make a reservation on a Tuesday for Saturday night at 7:00 for four. We received a call at 5 on Saturday that they only took reservations at 6 or 8… ok but 2 people were coming from Massachusetts so 6 wasn’t going to work so had to take 8 which was not what we wanted since one person in the party had an early morning on Sunday. No apology was made for this. 2. The restaurant is LOUD… Meaning you have to yell to hear across the table. In addition, tonight when we were there, a man in a loud party asked everyone in the room to be quiet/not talk so an older man could sing??? I’ve never witnessed something like this, I felt like I was at a wedding. 3. Service was lousy, maybe due to the fact it was so busy(no clue why). Drinks took forever and were wrong, water was not filled, etc. 4. Last but most importantly the food was horrible. How do you screw up veal and chicken parm??? All batter and no meat. I didn’t eat my veal parm after 2 bites and my husband barely are his chicken parm. Plus my veal parm was cold… I mentioned to the waiter and another waitress when asked how things were and if I wanted to take my meal home(didn’t bother bringing it to the dog). Nothing was done & no apology. You get better response at Applebee’s with an issue. In summary, never again. Luckily the company made it bearable. Many better place in RI

Antonio’s has always been a favorite of mine, I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve not once been disappointed. I’ve been to multiple functions and they always do a great job, food is always incredible and you can’t beat their veal parm! The service is always top notch and don’t miss a beat, great selection of wines by the glass and great selection of bottles. Ambiance is great for a first date or for a family or friends get together. Put antonio’s on your map; you’ll be hooked!

It saddens me to give this review because the food was excellent but the service was among the worst I’ve ever experienced. I had the chicken rolitini with tomato risotto and it was SUPERB! As a matter of fact, I was with a party of 10 and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals! No complaints for the quality and preparation of the food!!! The service, however, was AWFUL. Maybe the service sucked because we were a large party? Well, it was a Monday night, so they can’t use«date night» or «holiday» as an excuse. Moreover, we had reservations, so it’s not like we were unexpected. The waiter took eons to come over and introduce our specials. When a drink wasn’t served, or a meal wasn’t served, he was quick to blame the bartender and chef respectively. We were there for a birthday party and he came out with the cake when only half of the table was present(talk about a let down for the birthday girl!) Overall, his personality was far from welcoming. Actually it appeared that he was anxious for us all to go home instead! Unfortunately this isn’t the first poor service I’ve experienced here, I just wasn’t a Unilocal user before. Again, the food is good(great, actually) but the face of Antonio’s(aka the staff) need to be straightened out.
