I have thought long and hard about posting this review because I hate to do something that will hurt a charity organization, however, my experience at this location was so shocking that I decided to post. We took several clothes and toys to the Cranston location. We have not done this before and were unfamiliar with the process. We asked for a receipt for tax purposes and were itemizing our donations IN the center. The gentleman that was working there suddenly«snapped»(for reasons unbeknownst to us) and started picking up our donations and throwing them OUTSIDEONTHEGROUND by our car. Shocked and scared the bejesus out of us. I will continue to donate items here but I will not let my kids help me(my 10 y/o daughter was with me when this occurred).

I have been donating clothes and household items to this organization for decades. Occasionally I have big items and will call for delivery, but usually I have things in my trunk ready to go at all times. I like that I get the tax receipt when I go in and drop off. I am not one to throw things out so I feel better when I can give them away. I think that the items get sold to Savers and they use the money to fund the organization. That is fine with me… whatever it takes to keep funding projects and support for our youth!

Pretty amazing organization. Serving the youth of Rhode Island with one-to-one, professionally supported mentoring relationships. Being a mentor is so easy and so much fun! They also come right to my home to pick up my gently used clothing, small household items and my clean recyclable textiles! All I had to do was call 401.921.2434 and/or visit . Again, so easy and free!

A wonderful organization! Serving young people in Rhode Island by connecting them with caring, adult role models.
