Catanzaro’s Pizzeria Cranston

I’ve always had a good experience ordering pizza from Catanzaros. Today I decided to switch it up and order sandwiches for myself and my family. I had ordered 2 caprice prosciutto sandwiches (and a couple others) that were so poorly made. I’ve never seen any place serve a sandwich looking like this. Subway makes better sandwiches than what I had gotten! 4 small thin slices of tomatoes, couldn’t even find the mozzarella it was so thin, 4 pieces of prosciutto, probably a drizzle of balsamic, all on a huge roll. Very dissapointed. I would never serve a sandwich like that, especially at an Italian pizzeria. so embarrassing. What a shame!

Have been multiple times. Always consistent with great pizza. Sicilian Style pizza (thick rectangle) Always very good. Fresh cheese and dough and the sauce has great flavor. Lots of choices for pizza in the Cranston area but you will never regret eating here. And the large is not for the faint of heart.

So good, so fresh! Salads are monstrous. Great Italian style pizza and calzones. Catanzaro’s never disappoints!

Tried this place for the first time tonight. I was not disappointed, the pizza was delicious with fresh ingredients and a very reasonable price and wait time. Will definitely be back.

Best margarita pizza ever. I have been here three times and it is the best pizza in ri. It’s not super thin and not really thick. Ask for it well done so it’s nice and crispy. You won’t regret it. Salads are great. Eggplant parmigiana on the side.

Giving it a 4 because the pizza is amazing, just wish they had drinks on tap. Granted all the drinks are cold and they give you cold pint glasses but they should invest in taps! Have been here twice, the pizza was amazing both times. Bought some of it home and it was amazing even reheated. I live nearby now so will definitely be coming here often!

My absolute favorite pizza place on the face of the earth. NOBODY can do better than Catanzaro’s!

By far the best pizza in Rhode Island. I have been here numerous times for the pizza. But this time I had a meatball sandwich all meatballs and made in house from the owners-mom’s recipe. I have to say if I did not make them myself I would not usually eat a meatball sandwich in a restaurant they were just as good. Best meatball sandwich I have ever had in any restaurant.

This is my favorite pizza by far. A tremendous blend of cheeses, fresh portabella mushrooms and sliced meatball is definite winner. Whatever your chosen combination is you won’t be dissapointed.

Not the worst pizza I’ve ever had but definitely not my favorite. I really liked the dough, crust and size of the pizza. I ordered a pepperoni and cheese and something just didn’t taste right. Cheese tasted very weird… like sour. And the red sauce was gross. It’s too bad because the pizza definitely has potential! Place is extremely clean inside and the staff is very friendly.

Really good Calzones! The pizza is very good as well, never had a bad meal there! I really like how it is always fresh, they really always have really good food. They have fresh pizza and Calzones every time I’ve ever gone there. I’ve never had a bad meal there! I highly recommend this place for Italian food!

I stopped in to pick up a pizza for take out after hearing good things about this place. I went with sausage, red onion and artichoke. The pizza was quite large for the price. It was loaded with cheese and artichokes. The onions were a bit sparse and the sausage was easily overlooked. I thought the flavors were good but the crust was too soft and soggy in places. I enjoyed it and I’d rate it around 3.5 to 3.75 but I can’t go to 4.

As a native New Yorker, I’d like to think I know a thing or two about good pizza. So please take my word for it, Catanzaro’s delivers an incredible tasting pizza! It’s a very different style than the traditional NY pizza but equally delicious. These square pan pizzas are baked in Small (enough for 2), Medium and Large sizes and all can be customized (you can even do half 1 topping and half another). We tried a few different varieties: Meat lovers and Margherita — (Red and White). I loved the meat lovers– filled with delicious pepperoni, bacon, sausage, and meatball. My fiancé LOVED the White Margherita– fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, Basil, & Olive Oil. Truthfully they were all delicious and I would love to go back and try some more.
We also had to try a «grinder»! This Italian hero/​sub had mortadella, salami, capacola, proscuitto, provolone, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, hot peppers, tomato, red onions, a mix of greens, and it was all finished off with a nice vinaigrette. It was a delicious Italian sandwich.
The service was outstanding and the staff was very friendly. If you haven’t been to Catanzaro’s– I highly suggest that you do.

Best pizza I have had in a very long time! I live outside of Boston and was visiting and decided to try this place out. I will definitely be making special trips to get their pizza!

Pizza was awesome! I’ll post a pic of the large. Warning a large is insanely huge. I was thinking a large would be comparable to a dominos large, wayyyyyy wrong! This pizza will last me a whole week!

It’s after 8pm & he pulls up blaring his music with all his windows down, right outside my 3 year olds window… A delivery man is supposed to be professional, this by no means is acceptable. Very unprofessional & extremely rude.

We were hooked on Uncle Tonys for years until we found this place. It’s the best. Friendly, attentive staff. They use only the freshest ingredients and the pies are huge! There is a twenty to thirty minute wait for the pizza because its cooked on order but it is well worth it. The sauce is the outstanding. I lov it so much it’s the only sauce I use in my Italian dishes at home. You won’t be disappointed…

The sauce, the dough, the cheese, and the metal shards!!! «Just kidding», my pizza wasn’t wrapped in aluminum foil. How silly to complain about that. This is my new favorite pizza place in the area, and they deliver! I typically do not eat pizza early morning, but its 9:00 AM and I cant wait for it to open so I can order a pie. I will say, when I first ordered I thought the price was a little high, but when I was delivered a half ton mammoth of a pizza I realized how wrong I was.

I ordered a small pizza Friday night, with a bunch of veggie toppings: Carmalized Onions, Eggplant, Fresh Spinach and artichoke.
The cashier checked the pizza to make sure all of the toppings were on the pizza before she gave it to me, which I dont think happens too often.
Seriously, one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Thanks Catanzaro’s!

So Delicious! It’s a heavy pan pizza made of fresh high quality ingredients and the sauce! My God the sauce is fantastic! The medium size is enough to feed a family, the large is enough for an entire party.
Red Onions or Caramelized? I went with the Caramelized and I’m glad I did!

Best pizza in RI! It’s a thick heavy pizza that’s pan cooked so toppings all the way to the crispy edges. yum! Little more money but so worth it. big fat portobello mushrooms and homemade meatballs are great toppings.
Great Italian grinders and get there early for the daily made calzones.
