Once again we are upset with Cox after having been with them since their beginnings in RI. We are responsible for caring for a very elderly parent who has dementia and attempted to retain what she had when we saw that her bill had increased. Cox promises that in a «promotion» the price is locked in through a certain date, but then prices go up and so does this financially strapped person’s cable bill. Two calls today resulted in very little help. Now the bill is up by $ 36.00 for the year and the customer cannot afford it — one salesperson was rude when it was mentioned this person has dementia and is her nineties with very little. I am so saddened that this is the way this company cares about their customers, especially those in need.

I have been a customer of Cox from the very beginning and ever since their start in the Rhode Island area prices have gone up and customer service is absolutely terrible. I had to change my broken cable box yesterday and I was deeply disturbed that the store I visited had murals in the window all in Spanish, brochures inside the store were in Spanish, all tv monitors were playing Spanish shows and I was given an interpreter to talk to my sales associate that did not speak english. Sorry, but I am now looking for a new cable company that I can at least communicate with in my native language American English.

what a bunch of crooks im disable and they keep raising the price no discount the dvr keeps breaking down I hate this company im looking to go to verizon the customer service is a joke just like the company service keeps going off an on

Arranged for service in one of the Cox stores. Was not informed that substantial portion of discount would disappear in a year, and that remainder of discount would disappear after 2nd year. Called to complain and was basically told I could suck it. Filled out their customer service survey. Was recontacted after the survey JUSTTOBETOLDTHATNOONEINTHEWHOLECOMPANY could reinstate my discount. Terrible customer service, substandard products.

Worst service provider in the country. Lousy service, over priced and there is no end to the BS they will tell you on the phone. The internet is years behind the competition. The TV signal quality is substandard and the«help» is what you would expect from a stereotypical car garage located in a back alley of new york city. All thise great things at higher prices and more hidden charges than a pyramid scheme, Essentially this company is a corporate thieving operation and deserves to be shut down. Do yourself a favor and get Verizon or some other network if you live in Rhode Island. Cox is sad and i wish i never gave them a penny of my hard earned money for the sub standard services they provide.
