I am very picky about my hair and have only had one colorist my whole life. Made the switch to Lenore for a highlight and cut; she blew my lifelong hairdresser out of the water. Amazing highlight, beautiful cut and Lenore pays so much attention to every detail. Beyond satisfied and would recommend highly! She also took me for a day of appointment which is always appreciated.

I have been going to Lenore Rae for a few years now, and I can honestly say my hair has never looked better! Everyone is so friendly and my hair stylist, Tara is absolutely amazing! My hair always looks great whether I get it colored, highlighted or styled. I always leave the salon with a smile on my face! :) I highly recommend Lenore Rae to anyone looking to upgrade their salon experience!

The first time I entered Lenore Rae salon, I was 36 weeks pregnant with twins. I desperately needed a haircut, saw an ad in a magazine for the salon, and noticed it was close by to my house, so I made an appointment. Nearly 7 years later, I’m still a loyal client. Lenore always does a fantastic job with my hair when stylists at other salons had cut my very thick hair terribly, rendering my hair poufy and even crookedly cut. I like how she’s very honest too — if something wouldn’t work with your hair, she’ll encourage you not to do it.

I had made a wedding trial appointment with another salon and after spending 4 hours there and having my curls fall out in less than 2, I was frustrated to put it lightly.
Brenda at Lenore Rae Salon swooped in and saved the day. At the trial she gave me good advice on a style that would allow my hair to hold in the august humidity, while still maintaining the down look I wanted, and did it in less than an hour. On the big day she did my hair even more beautifully than I could have dreamed. The style held from 2pm-​2am, might have lasted longer but I needed sleep.

This salon is absolutely wonderful. The team is so great, and the talent is outstanding. They also just recently added an awesome new addition to their services: body glow airbrush tanning– which is *amazing*!
My hair has honestly never looked so good, and the kindness of the staff is wonderful. Definitely would recommend to everyone who’s looking for a great experience :)

Giving this salon 1 star is generous. My sister and I had apps for hair trials for my wedding. My cousin had her hair done there and it was beautiful so I was excited to have my trial-​that I had booked 6 months in advance. My sister and I bought hair extensions, which my cousin had also done, and she told me the hair dresser would need them for the trial so I wanted to be prepared! We came with extensions and photos. My sister was up first and wanted a style with a braid in the front and gathered to the side and low with curls– off the neck. I sat down beside her, which was the chair of the hair dryer, and was told immediately to get up and i cant sit there in case someone needs it. The only other person in there was an adult man and im pretty sure he wasn’t having a permanent. WELL HERE WE GO! The hair dresser-​Tara– began her rant of «I don’t do braids because I’ve been in this industry long enough and I don’t like to do them because they never look good. But there will be someone here to do the braid for the wedding.» I have a small wedding party but all 3 girls wanted braids and I’m not going to show up the day of my wedding and hope that someone will be working here and can do their braids! Then she begins to say that she’s not going to use the extensions because it’s just a trial and we’re just getting an IDEA of what we want for the wedding day. Oh really? Is that what I’m paying $ 50 for? An idea? NO. I want to see today exactly what we are going to do the day of the wedding so it can be smooth and stress-​free and not pressed for time. Then I told Tara that I’m not comfortable about her not doing the braids and asked if there was someone who does braids who could do the trial and do the girls hair. (Not only can she not do braids, but she decided it was appropriate to tell us that they are immature and juvenile. Really? My photos of hair styles included actresses and models ranging in age from 25−45…)There happened to be another hair dresser there that could do the braids– great! So she comes over and I show her the picture of what my sister wants and she just wanted to do the braid quickly and said it was so easy to do. She didn’t want to take the whole trial. So Tara says no, you’re going to do her entire trial and she wants you to use the extensions. That hair dresser said that she has never worked with extensions before! So after being so overcome with frustration that my arms and legs were going numb because I was beginning to lose it, I simply looked at Tara and told her that we were going to go somewhere else to have our hair done. Her response? «We’ll that is 2 apps that I’m losing». My response? I looked at her and grabbed everything and left because I would have completely lost it on her. She lost an entire wedding party because of her attitude and terrible customer service. She treated us as if we were inconveniencing her and it was terrible. I will never step foot in that establishment again. They should be embarrassed of their actions, owner included, who stood there and listened to everything unfold and watched us walk out of her salon. Pathetic and unprofessional.
