Moksha Wellness Centre is set to explode with yogis new and old in the coming months. The owner, Nichole, was educated in Rishikesh, India and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the space, her classes, and her staff. The instructors have a varying set of backgrounds but the same goal: to make your practice a well-rounded experience. The studio doesn’t claim to give you a «work-out» and doesn’t tout heated classes or try to pretend to be something they are not. Does yoga work your body? Yes. Are the instructors able to challenge a seasoned practitioner without scaring away a green yogi? Yes. Will you sweat and challenge yourself mentally and physically? Of course. The instructors at Moksha will teach you how to make your practice as vigorous, gentle, or in-between as you like it. There are also other services, such as angel card/spirit/astrology readings, reiki, massage therapy, and more to come in the future. They also offer henna tattoos on Thursday evenings as well as trinity healing. As a new business, expect some minor schedule changes as they figure out what days and times attract students. The new student special is $ 25 for unlimited yoga. Once you take two classes, you have gotten more than your money’s worth. There are also various workshops held, some based in healing, others in yoga. Some emphasize energy balancing, while others emphasize meditation, breathwork, or groups of asana to improve. Come on by and experience the warm, friendly environment that many studios seem to outgrow, but Moksha will never lose!
