Filthy! They rolled out my rug then walked all over it with dirty boots then cleaned it on the same filthy sponge mat that they clean everyone elses carpet even those with pet urine and feces. No thank you. I dont want a bacteria ridden rug back when all it needed was a steam. GROSS!

We recently put carpet down in our playroom/office and were trying to decide between the Home Depot/Lowes route or a local business. I drive past the sign each day for State Rug and stopped by to check out their remnants. I will say that their remnants are about the same price as HD’s basic lines, but with fewer options. However, I easily found one that worked for my space — a nice quality berber — and had them price out the installation of the rug and corresponding pad. Their prices were about the same as HD, but they were a lot less hassle. They came out, measured, and gave me a price. Done. HD wants you to use their silly online tool, and won’t come out to your house unless you commit to a price. What moves State Rug from a ‘sure whatever’ rating to a ‘ya I’m a fan’ rating is that, following the installation, we noticed a stain on the rug. I think it was from one of our other contractors, but who knows. Regardless, I called up State Rug and they offered to come out to the house again and treat the rug FREEOFCHARGE. The stain is now gone, and I’m super happy with the rug overall. Yay!
