I have visited Touch twice in the last month, so this review is very current. Tuesday nights are karaōke nights and I can tell you from many years of singing that Touch has the best speaker system around! «Tommy Tunes», the KJ/DJ, is a really nice, polite and knowledgeable man who also has a great voice. He is there on alternating Tuesdays,(check via phone to see if he is on). The place is very clean, comfortable and the screens are superb! You can follow your lyrics in 6 different locations, which to us singers means that we can turn and«work the crowd» which is part of performing. This is also great for the people who just want to sit and listen, since there is not a bad spot in the house and nowhere else I ever been can make that claim! Go there, even if it is not karaōke night, and you will not be disappointed. Really nice people and atmosphere!

hmmm touch… i’ll keep this short. This is a local bar trying to bring an upscaled feel to the neighborhood. They have multiple but small LCD screens. couches riding walls and an open area in the middle… the dance floor. They like to serve their drinks in plastic cups(if you ask me, the cups didnt equate to the price) Music was provided by DJPUSHPLAY(playing a CD) Bartender was slow… but than again he was by himself… washroom is small… how it can handle the capacity when they are packed amazed me… i didnt wait for the washroom… just walked to the allay.(oh wait, they dont have alleys in rhode island…(behind the building) in all: Meh. I’ve experienced better.
