I have been going to this CVS shortly after they opened. I strive to support local businesses whenever I can, but quite often, the local hometown pharmacy did not have what we needed. In order to get our needs met, we began going to Eckerds in Creedmoor. Their lengthy waits and unprofessional staff was more than enough reason to try CVS. We have never regreted our decision. The service here is excellent! The pharmacists and the pharmacy techs are professional, pleasant and helpful.

This place beats the socks off of that other place across town when it comes to filling prescriptions. It’s usually only an hour before my prescription is ready. Their across town competitor in Butmoor typically has a 3 – 4 hour wait, and many times the wait has been even longer. Enough about that other place. This store is clean, it’s easy to navigate, and if I need to make a quick run for office supplies, they have exactly what I need and it’s only 5 minutes away. I have to agree with Sue regarding the corporate giant and neurotic local government comments. Let me put it this way… Walmart wanted to build here and they just threw up their hands and gave up.

I know what you’re thinking… «it’s just a CVS». Well, not in Creedmoor! This CVS has been my savior during late night runs for diapers, formula, or when I just needed something for my stuffy nose. Before this CVS was built, I had to descend to the next ring of purgatory(Food Lion) for medicine. It was that or travel an extra couple of miles to Rite Aid. The Good : It’s new, clean, and the cashiers are very nice. They have one of those free blood pressure machines. I used to camp out in front of it when I was pregnant to monitor my hypertension. It came in very handy. The Bad: It’s not one of those cool CVS that has a Minute Clinic. You know, where they give the flu shots every year? Very disappointed a brand new CVS would not have this! I’m amazed that any corporate giant would be willing to put up with the neurotic local government we have here. Kudos CVS!
