Suggested as a place for Breakfast by Local Neighbor Grammies(Bakery) Kitchen Owner(sent me here)… Word is out that«Finches» recently Purchased this place and my Waitress said they will change the name and make some more changes to the menu, though the Kitchen and Wait staff will stay the same, so she said! They can change the Home Fries, that would be fine with me, though you better not change the Biscutts and Country Ham! Biscuit looks baked, then grittled, tastes Fantastik! Country Ham did NOT fit the Biscuit, was WAYBIGGER than my photo made it look! Incredible Flavor! Next time I might try the«City Ham»! They have Hash Browns though I chose Home Fries with Onions, they were ok, NOT A-OK, just ok! If you like the Photo you will probably like these! What part of the Country are you from? Marz? The Crowd this AM was 16 men and two women! Everyone knows each other except this one Stranger(Rod0)! They treated me with slight skepticism initially(black hoodie, waredrobe devoid of Camo and no hat, ok

Dear Vantastics, our relationship was very nice while it lasted, I was passionate about it in the beginning, but little things kept changing and you eventually removed the menu items I kept coming back to you for. Back in April, you seduced me with a succulent Ribeye dinner at a very competitive price, lured me in with a decent house Cabernet. It wasn’t long thereafter, you increased the price on the Ribeye — but it was still competitive. Despite the changes, I was longingly coming back for more… I looked forward to each return visit. But now, it’s gone entirely, and according to the server we had yesterday, you have not ordered Cabernet in quite some time. I felt like a jilted lover when I had to settle for a Merlot in a visually dirty glass and a sandwich I could have gotten just about anywhere else. The 8pm closing ritual made me feel unwanted, as though we were just customers in the way. We did try to hurriedly finish our meals just to be out of your way. By the body language and hurried tone from the very time we arrived it would seem that if we ever were before, we were no longer valued guests. I will miss the good times we spent together, and oh how I wish things could be different, that you would give me something to look forward to, but alas, it does not appear we are meant to be. Maybe we can still be friends, but that usually doesn’t end well. You will now be referred to, again, as the local breakfast and sandwich place that once served a terrific dinner that was worth coming back for time and again. I will probably avoid you in the future — I will look down so as not to make eye contact when I pass by you on the street. Goodbye is so bittersweet…

Great southern food at incredible prices. By far my favorite local spot.
