JavaHut was incredibly kind and had great service! It reminded me of our hometown coffee shop Jana’s Java in Utah. Thank you for making great coffee!!!

What a great spot for an excellent 2-shot latte! Super friendly people that run out to your car like Les Schwab to take your order when the line starts to form!

Good cup of plain black coffee. Strong enough, not bitter. Solid.

Great coffee option in Crescent City. Stopped here twice during a recent visit as we really enjoyed the coffee. My regular is a simple nonfat latte, and the espresso here is done well. The line of cars seemed to never stop so a good sign of popularity with the locals. A much preferred option to the chain competitor across the street.

This coffee is AMAZING. I’ve tried the Mocha Royale and the Berry Luscious and both were phenomenal — I’m going to try as many of their drinks as I can while I’m in the area. They’ve got free wifi and the staff are very nice. 10⁄10

Fantastic happy service. I had a double shot Americano and it was REALLY good. They warned me it was extremely hot, great service. The best part, I left my camera battery and camera charger in their store. I drove back to Washington on a road trip and Java Hut shipped me the charger/battery back. That is awesome service. Thank you Java Hut!

The best chi latte(Tahitian Vanilla) I’ve ever had! And the ladies working were very helpful and friendly. My son had a hot chocolate which he loved and my husband had a Carmelita which he also loved.

If you’re looking for great coffee, creative drinks, all at a great price, look no further. We always try and support local coffee when we travel and if it’s better than Starbucks, I’m all for it! The coffee my hubby ordered was soooo good and rich. They had their seasonal menu out and I loved the Pumpkin inspired drinks. My kids both tried the seasonal lattes and all our taste buds had a coffee-gasm. Don’t go to Starbucks across the street, come HERE. You’ll be glad you did.

Let me start by saying that I avoid Starbucks. I think their beans are over roasted, which usually leaves the coffee tasting burnt. It is, however, a bit like McDonald’s: at least you know what you are getting. I prefer to go to local coffee shops that focus more on the quality of the coffee. That said, I’d go to Starbucks across the street next time I am in Crescent City. The latte I ordered was watery and way too hot to drink. So, the basic step of heating the milk was done wrong… the milk was over heated making the latte too hot to drink, and watery because too much water was infused during the steaming process. Sadly, I can get a better latte at Startbucks.

Who would have thought you’d be able to find some great coffee in Crescent City but that’s what we have here. Only drag is they didn’t have any scones or muffins to eat. But killer coffee alone gets them 5 stars in my book.

Super Coffee Shop am Stadtrand von Crescent City für Take Out oder Drive Though. Frischer, super leckerer Kaffee/Mocha/Cappuccino/whatever you like vom Barrista, absolut nette Bedienung, vernünftiger Preis. Ignoriert den Starbucks gegenüber und unterstütz diesen lokalen Coffee Shop ;)

I’m from out of town but I loved this spot. It’s cute and clean inside and a good place to relax, it also has a drive thur. Service is excellent, warm and friendly. On top of that they have all kinds of awesome espresso drinks. Best coffee in town.

Please read this review all the way through! Lattes are very good, ice caps are most excellent with everything… but my daughter had a problem with her drink, she told them no chocolate in the drink, they did put chocolate in and she returned it and they remade it, no problem right… she got back into the truck and took a drink and remarked how terrible the drink was, my other daughter took the drink back into the Java Hut to replace the drink, she got back into the truck and told us they would not redo the drink because they had already replaced the first drink(the drink they messed up) I told my daughter to just go ahead and drink it, she told me to take a drink of it… Wow it was terrible, tasted very powdery. Well I took it into the hut and they tried to explain to me why it tasted so terrible. That’s fine, I would like to reorder the drink for my daughter. She told me that they have already made the drink once and that would be 10 bucks that they would lose(more like 75 cent in product) So I said that the drink is terrible and I would like to return it. Again she try to explain to me why it tasted so terrible. I finally ask, so your not going to return this drink? She said NO I’m not. WOW… this is the down side to a mom and pop shop, not much customer service. When the time came for this business to shine the service just flew out the window, after one replacement that they missed up on it was no longer about the customer. Next time through town I will stop by Starbucks right across the street knowing if I ever have a problem with the drink or service they will«make it right» There is a bright side to the Java Hut, north a few miles up is another Java Hut, we pulled in and explained our dismay and dilemma with Madison, WOW what a gem of a employee, she remade the drink for us and it was fantastic!!! So next time I’m traveling through Smith river I will make it a point to stop by this Java Hut and buy a cup of deliciousness from them because this Java Hut believes in customer service. Madison saved the Java Huts reputation for me. Madison if they give you flack for helping this customer out, head over to Starbucks you’ll move up the corporate ladder quickly!

So delicious and most friendly employees even at 6 am :) I got the mexican hot chocolate and it was amazing. The girls working the booth gave some good advice on local eats as well, definitely was a fantastic visit.

Love Java Hut. Every time we visit Crescent City we stop by and our coffee is almost always on point. The down side to this place is they charge you $ 1 for a glass of tap water. That’s kinda annoying since we spend $ 15 here every time we stop in.- but whatever. The Java Hut in Walmart is also very yummy!

Best Mocha since Seattle! We love to support local businesses. I would much rather give my money to them than corporate giants like Starbucks. My coffee was perfect! A proper greet and smile from the young man making my coffee would’ve been appreciated but all in all a great place.

Nice pit stop for coffee and smoothies. It’s a small shack with a few seats but no bathroom. Prices are reasonable and service is friendly. Plenty of parking too. Skip Starbucks and support your local business instead.

I’m a HUGE fan of this coffee shop — it’s full of friendly people with big hearts who can handle a high volume of customers with aplomb, grace and big smiles. My first visit, the darling young man who was taking my order asked if it was my first visit and advised me of all the vegan options — I ended up with a coconut milk decaf latte with vegan whipped cream and sprinkles on it! They have a nice small lounge with comfy seats where I was able to pull out my little lunch and drink my coffee. That really brightened my day and gave me the boost I needed to battle the coastal fog on my motorcycle! I made sure to visit again on my return south and the service and the coffee drinks were just as excellent as the first visit. Great team and good eats, very vegan friendly. I highly recommend and will return to visit this shop again.

This is a stop I make pretty much every day when I am visiting CC. As Kyle knows, my favorite drink is the vanilla blended chai with extra nutmeg; I have yet to find another establishment that makes them as good as Java Hut does! When I lived here, I got a variety of drinks and they are all delicious. Definitely a higher quality coffee than what you’ll receive from across the street. If you’re coming through Crescent City, this is a must stop!
