After a long cold day of fishing we stopped here and was pleasantly surprised !! Great service, even turned the fire on for us. Pizza was excellent, good crust, crunchy on the bottom, liked the sauce too! Very friendly service ! Even had whole made desserts which we had to have !! Yum

GRUB. Something about the crust is so good and fresh. Expensive but worth it. Whenever I order pizza I request extremely light sauce but often don’t end up getting extremely light sauce but this place got it right. I love Pizza King!

It was really good!!! Fresh & hot out of the oven! My kids also had a blast playing with the games. Very friendly staff.

Solid pizza joint. Not sure why it got bad reviews in March. Son and I had pizza and cheese sticks. Both were very good. Sticks came with ranch and a chunky marinara with a little kick to it. Would eat here again if I’m in town.

My extended family and I were on vacation near Cresent City and decided to try Pizza King. As we walked in, we were warmly greeted. Next we tried to find a table big enough for a group of 8, but we wrre having difficulty. The staff noticed and showed us a bench on wheels that they pulled over to a very large booth for us. I agree with the reviews that say the décor is a little outdated, but when I go to a restaurant I am more concerned with customer service and the food. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and cheese pizza’s. I am a vegetarian so I will stick to the review of the cheese pizza. It was DELICIOUS! My family loves pizza and we eat it at least once a week. I can honestly sat this is one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time. The crust was the highlight for me, however the sauce and cheese came in at a close second. For me the true test of a great pizza is if it tastes good cold the next day and Pizza King pizza passed with flying colors. The meat eaters in the group really enjoyed their pizza as well, so I am hoping they write a review. My only suggestion would be to franchise to Oregon! Thank you Pizza King!

Great pizza, friendly and quick service. The pizza was perfect and tasted great. The pizza was cheesy and had a what seemed like a brick oven cooked crust. Not sure about the past bad reviews, because this place is good. It is a very nice pizza joint. If you are looking for a salad bar go to a cheap pizza hut, or a regular restaurant. It does small salad bar, which looked decent. This is a strait forward good pizza place.

Don’t let the rough exterior and interior fool you! The reviews were subpar but I was desperate. The staff was actually really friendly, and the pizza was amazing. I didn’t order salad, but the salad bar from what I saw did leave a lot to be desired. The pizza was fantastic though. I highly recommend

My husband and I decided to try it despite the bad reviews and I’m glad we did. We had our pizza for take out so I don’t know about customer service but the guy on the phone was friendly. We ordered the garlic pie and added artichoke hearts, and we got the cheesy bread sticks. We were both really happy with the food and would eat here again when passing through.

We were welcomed as soon as we walked in, given a menu, and shown the pizza sizes. The gentleman behind the counter made some money-saving suggestions. Our cheese sticks came first, with homemade marinara and a delish ranch. They were yummy. Our garlic pie pizza came next and was really tasty. The waiter told us that our pepperoni pizza had been overcooked so they were making a fresh one. It came a few minutes later and looked, smelled, and tasted delicious. We’re not from here but this is definitely a pizza joint worth eating at. Great food, friendly staff!

Cool 60s vibe inside and friendly staff made up for ‘ok’ pizza. We enjoyed it and had fun looking around the place.

Awful awful awful. The pizza was bad, the salad bar was laughable, the service was bad. After waiting an hour and a half and several promises from the rude staff that our food would be done soon we finally found that the food still hadn’t even begun to be prepared and tickets for orders from some people in our group had been lost all together. Will I go back? Never. Not ever. I’m only giving them one star because no stars was not an option.

Nice staff and good food, what else can you ask for in a far away location. Thumbs up.

Yummy, friendly, fresh, clean, and mom and pop owned. My kind of place! My hubby and I had been car camping for a week and were quietly munching along listening to the gossip from the kitchen. Dont know any of the characters but the story was better than tv! Awesome!

We were staying in Crescent City for a wedding. There didn’t seem to be many options for food, and being the pizza lovers that we are, we thought we would try out this place. The workers were friendly, the pizza was«ok», we could cook better on our Traeger at home. The place looked run down, everything had«for sale» signs, and the décor didn’t make any sense.

After a long drive from San Francisco we were hungry and tired. Pizza king hit the spot. Good pizza. Fine service. Small but quality draft beer selection.

The pizza here is pretty good. It was full of toppings and the crust was sturdy. The atmosphere, however… It was around 8 on a Saturday night when we visited. Pizza King was one of the few restaurants open in Crescent City. There was a party going on in the party room and no one else in the restaurant. We ordered a 16″ pizza, a beer, and a glass of wine. The total was around $ 24. An employee turned the fireplace we sat in front of on, which was a nice gesture. However, children from the party room leaked all over the restaurant. For our entire meal, they ran around the restaurant playing hide and seek and screaming, as children are wont to do. There was no attempt by the staff to indicate this was a faux pas, nor apology for their behavior. It seemed as if they were related to the owners. Were it not for the(almost)complete lack of customer service, I would give this place a 4.

This is a casual locals pizza joint. While it’s a little dingy and rough around the edges, they make solid pizza and have a fully-stocked salad bar. It’s nothing special or fancy, but it hit the spot. A young surfer-type waited on us, and he was super friendly, talked with us about our visit to the redwoods, and gave recommendations for what to order. He even let us taste a couple of the draft beers we weren’t familiar with before we committed to ordering a pint of something. They also had a great draft beer selection with quite a few local brews. The booths are huge and can sit large families, and there’s an arcade in the back, so I’d say it’s a decent choice to bring your family for an inexpensive meal and to entertain the kids.
