very good american chinese food. in fact their chicken and broccoli was better than our go to spots in SD in terms of flavor and the prep work on the chicken and veggie. their cha siu pork fried rice was also good in flavor, the pork just needed to be bit bigger. their sizzling rice soup was okay needed a few more good size shrimp and the rice should be on the side not inside when it’s to go. took it back to the hotel for a warm cozy dinner before hitting jedediah state park before sunrise.

I’ve gone to Wing Wah several times since arriving in Crescent City, the food is always pretty good but the service rarely is. Tonight really topped it off when I was given a 3 oz. container of white rice with my $ 11 order. When I asked for more I was refused. Seriously, I know this is the only place in town to get Chinese food but it’s overpriced and the customer service is awful. I recommend spending your money elsewhere, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. I will not be going back any time soon.

This place is better than it looks. The pictures of food on the windows before you enter are actually pretty good representations of what is on offer and helped us pick what we wanted. Staff are lovely and welcoming. The food was really good and the portions were large. Overall value for money was good and the service was good too.

We liked this restaurant a lot. We ate here more than any other restaurant. the shopping center is terrible but once you are in the doors you are fine. NOTE: we had to ask for No MSG. We got fresh made food, and the service just beat the pants off anywhere in town.

Well we went here with someone who eats here regularly. They only gave us half a pot of tea it seemed like cause we ran out. Ordered the number 7 which included shrimp, cashew chicken, fried rice… the celery in the chicken was very raw… Ive had it both ways before too cooked but this needed a bit more cooking. Small portions for the price, there were only three shrimp and they didnt offer the customary red dipping sauce with it(you know with a spot of chinese mustard), which I have never experienced in my 55 years… the sauce you were supposed to use was some very runny sweet n sour that was in a squeeze bottle on the table I guess LOL I asked and thats what they said very nonchalantly… very dissapointing and bizarre! Who the heck dips fried shrimp in sweet n sour sauce!

This is the first time give 1 star since I use Unilocal,my family and I love Chinese food, but the food of this restaurant is very disappointing, the service is terrible! when we come in probably less than 10 customers, but after 20 minutes, our food is served. «sweet and sour chicken“the sauce is warm but chicken inside is cold! My child likes sweet and sour chicken before, but this time he told me: mom, I don’t like !

Been visiting Wing Wahs as long as I can remember. It’s one of my favorite places in crescent city. Ku is one of the best waiters I know! He cares, he hustles and he will go out of his way to make customers happy. He remembers what your preferences are from previous visits, even several months later.

In town for vacation and stopped in for dinner. Very friendly staff, quick service, and clean. The lemon chicken was yummy, with a sweet, not sour sauce. The egg rolls were large and crispy. My son even tried Chinese food for the first time based on the waitress’s recommendation. Great place for a quiet, relaxing family dinner!

Wish I could give this place a 0 or better yet –5 The owners were very rude and the food was simply heated up stale food. Oh and on top of that my order was wrong! Incompetent people with terrible food. AVOIDLIKETHEPLAGUE.

Came here not expecting much from the reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Immediately given complimentary hot tea and the chicken chow mein was great! It wasn’t overly greasy or fried either. It was really tasty!

Great food, friendly service and a clean location. There is not much a view there, it sits in a shopping center next to Safeway. You will forget about the view as you are served your food though. I have been eating here for years, and have never had a bad meal. They cook chow mein perfect, and their rice is perfectly steamed. The inclusive menu features a good variety of flavors. My benchmark for Chinese food is typically to taste the sweet and sour sauce. Theirs is very well done, not too sweet, and nice and thick. Plenty of meat in all of their dishes, including their sea food. The veggies are always crisp and fresh, and their tea is pleasant. Take out is great, although I would suggest to add an extra order of rice with your order. They are on point with their prices, expect to spend $ 12 – 15 per person including a soda. The waitresses are extremely friendly and attentive, and work quick. No reservations needed, their speedy service keeps seats available most of the time.

I got my food to go. The egg flour soup tasted watery and bland. That may be forgiven. But hair in my cashew chicken!?! I won’t be going there again.

We stopped here as we were on a road trip and had cravings for Chinese! Overall I was very satisfied for a place we just decided to pop into! I had the lemon chicken which was to die for, and I was so sad I couldn’t take my leftovers as we had no place to keep them on our trip! Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed the best Chinese meal I’ve had in a long time! The sweet and spicy garlic chicken is delicious and not too spicy. My grandson ordered the #6 combination and it was a lot of food! Waitstaff was very good. It’s located in a strip mall close to Safeway. Prices are reasonable.

Wing Wah means ‘place to eat’ I found out. The food here is your typical Chinese American dishes, but they all tasted great. We got 2 sample platters which come with the egg drop soup and tea, all for $ 20. Service was great, and the kids liked the fish tank too!

Okay– must qualify my 4 stars. This is «Crescent City» four stars… Stopped in on our break between Seattle and Sonoma. We had our two children with us, and after a long car trip, we were hungry. Read Unilocal reviews of this place and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased. My husband is a strict vegetarian, and there weren’t many true vegetarian(not vegan, just no meat or broth) items on the menu for him. The server seemed to be very accommodating when he asked about vegetarian dishes. All of the servers seemed to be genuinely happy to help. My kids and I each had a bowl of egg drop soup which was delicious and fresh. We shared sweet & sour chicken and potstickers. My husband ended up with a szechuan vegetable dish with some marinated tofu that he really enjoyed. We devoured our food, and left only some steamed rice behind. The price was totally reasonable($ 40 for all of us) and we walked away feeling full and pleased. I know another reviewer complained about lack of a fortune cookie– but my kids devoured their cold, juicy orange slices. If I ever find myself in Crescent City again(hopefully not), I will have a meal here again.
