Love the upgrade in the Mabes category here. Sounds like they have things rolling and from my opinion they do. It’s a cultural shock stepping back in time when you first walk in. Fungeddaboudit. This is Mabes pizza just like the home place just to the east in Decorah. I had a great personal pizza for lunch and a salad. Very healthy and tasty. Great staff. Enjoy.

While the atmosphere is not very fancy and there are some flaws this is still a quaint small town restaurant with decent food for great prices. The staff is friendly. Pizza has been fantastic every time. I particularly like the cheese curds and the crispy chicken wings appetizers.
It would be nice if the hash-browns were home made and I would stay away from the lasagna (bought in, not home made)
Over all, still a consistently good experience.

The food here is just as good as decorah. But we came here last summer to get out of the heat and they had no air conditioning
