OK, maybe we were there on an off day. Service took forever. We had to ask for silverware and napkins: long after our food arrived. Waitress was pleasant but not very helpful and did not know about the more exotic soups so I settled for chicken vegetable. It was very good but $ 7.00 for a small bowl??? For a few dollars more I could make an entire pot! Now for our burgers. I don’t know how they managed this but they were undercooked inside and burnt on the outside. I am sure the fresh mozzarella would have tasted great if not for the overpowering burnt charcoal taste. YUCK! Doubt I would return. Only thing worthwhile was the soup but not at that price!

Very good soups here. I had the jambalaya and the gumbo. Both were very nice. I should also note they are were very spicy(and I like heat). The only con is that sometimes the rolls that come with the meal are hard as a rock. But definitely a place to check out if you are in the area.

I have really enjoyed everything I’ve ordered here. My fave is the pita sandwich with chicken and a yogurt sauce — really nice! I think I like my food with a little less salt than what they put into some of their food(e.g., the chili), but I’m sure most people wouldn’t think the food is too salty. The only thing that’s been kind of a bummer is that the rolls they include with the meals look a lot better than they taste — kind of dry.

This food is fucking awesome… I try new soups all the time and they’ve all been good. The spanish lady is a sweetheart but the owner is a bitch. Regardless, this shit is a goldmine… the sandwiches, the soups, the platters… it’s all good. Try it.
