Great food and atmosphere! The burgers and cheese sticks are AMAZING! Plenty of TVs for the games and the bartenders/waitresses are always nice!

Best spinach artichoke dip and pita we’ve ever had. I would go back again just for that! During Blackhawks games, you get a free shot for every goal the Hawks make. The night we went, we had 3 before we left! The waitress was very friendly, and who I’m assuming was an owner/manager, also checked in on us. Great local place.

I ended up going last night 10⁄16 because it had the most stars locally and it did not disappoint! It had a good atmosphere, and was all around a great dive bar! The bartender with the super long curly locks was totally welcoming and VERY attentive. She remembers everyone’s names and her suggestions are spot on if you don’t know what to get but you tell her what you usually like. I don’t live super close but I would go out of my way to come here again!

Came here with the wife, whose eight grade class had a XXXXth year reunion of sorts. It’s an style bar in that it’s in the middle of a neighborhood. We were planning on eating AND drinking there. Because it’s a bar, I had low expectations on the food. Well, forget that. We were the first ones there, so we grabbed an appetizer, artichoke dip with grilled pita. After we’d killed the pita, we just ate the rest of the dip with spoons. Fantastic. I got a steak sandwich with mushrooms and onions, and the wife got a chicken wrap. Both were great. The freaking french fries were great. The ONIONRINGS were great, and you can tell, none of these came out of a bag, they’re all handcut. Their onion rings were more like tempura One of our party got the Catcher’s Mitt, a burger the size of, yeah, a catcher’s mitt. HUGE. And he killed it. In fact, just about everybody killed their dinners, cuz everything was too good to NOT finish. Nice selection of craft beers, besides the usual suspects. Very clean, well lit. Met the owner, and it sounds like he’s very invested in the place, rather than thinking of it as a side business. Big recommend.

Food is great! The service was great. The place wasn’t at all what I expected or what we were looking for when we called to check on availability. We had a party of 20 not from the area and wanted to go somewhere for some drinks. We bombarded them with our party and they were amazing. Thanks for the hospitality!

This is a great place! Small bar/restaurant but lots of space still. Relaxing to grab a beer, a bite to eat and watch a game. Staff was very nice and quick. Ordered a wrap that I would recommend to anyone that was delicious and the food came out quickly. Long story short, it’s a cozy place with good food, and nice people.

From what I’ve had food is pretty good for bar food. They just changed kitchens/owner of kitchen so I’ve only eaten here 2 times. Both times I had mushroom appetizer which they bread, pretty good. I had pork tenderloin which they also hand make. The first time it was slightly over cooked but still good although the Cajun seasoning is non traditional to a pork tenderloin sandwich. The sandwich was huge. Could only eat half. Came here today to see if I could get one properly cooked but they were out. Hot the poor boy instead, meat is good quality I give it 6⁄7 out of 10. Great beer selection though.

My favorite bar in the area. Nice and cozy but not cramped. TVs everywhere and at each table. Great beer selection with good prices. The owner is very friendly as well.

I’ve gotta say I was intrigued by the Unilocal reviews. I wasn’t sure if a townie bar would be worth the visit That being said, this place is pretty great. It’s clean, LOTS of TV’s. Friendly servers and the food is really, really good bar food. It took some time to find as this is the absolute definition of a «neighborhood bar». It’s in the middle of a residential neighborhood, but don’t let that discourage you. I expected a pigsty, but instead it was a newer feel. Drinks were strong and the food was fresh. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich which was truly, truly outstanding.

HOLYCRAP!!! THISPLACEISTHEREALDEAL!!! Every single thing you put in your mouth will be AMAZING!!! They grind their own beef for the burgers and handmake everything!!! The fried chicken is only served on the weekend and I crave it!!! I don’t know what he does to the food but OMG!!! Even though it is inside Catchers Tap it is actually«Chefy’s Kichen». So if you want to see the actual menu you have to google Chefy’s Kitchen. Oh yeah… the5 piece fried cheese stick appetizer are each the size of an egg roll!!! HUGE!!! And delicious!

I love catchers tap! It’s always clean, the staff are all very nice, and the owners truly care about their patrons. Wednesdays stuffed cabbage is a winner!!! Make sure to stop in for a hawks or bears game, they give free shots for every goal/score.
