First time purchasing. Just finished destroying this burrito in my car infront of their store. Not the best I’ve had but it was hot and fresh. Above Average. I ordered 2 sides. Rice and Beans… For some reason, they put BOTH the rice and beans in small ass to-go box… I assumed they would be separated. Worst Rice I’ve ever bought… CHEAPRICE… too soft… kinda mushy… Over cooked rice but the beans was alright… Funny occurrence… I was checking in on my Unilocal app for the first time and Unilocal asked if they had wifi… so I ask the cash register chick if they had wifi and she looked at me like I was crazy or asking a stupid question… that was when I told her I was reviewing the store and within the blink of an eye, she started smiling and being extra nice… that wasn’t the case when she took my order and it certainly wasn’t the case when I walked into the store… She also gave me a drink for free… She did all of this because she knew I would be writing a review… I don’t think I would have gotten a free drink. Will I come here again… probably not… maybe one more chance but I doubt it. But give it a try… It might work for you.

Time says 1am on the door, on the site, well they decide to just close whenever they feel like I guess. Drove up 1 hour before close, and they were closed for no reason posted early. Kind of a bummer, if your business is slow near close change your hours.

I really like the steak tacos and carne Asada steak dinner here! They also have a pick two combo and drink for 6.99 that can’t be beat that comes with rice and beans. I don’t care for beans, so I get double rice and their rice is really good. Their horchata rice drink is a little too sweet for my liking so I usually pass on theirs. The chips and salsa used to be better but hey they’re free if you eat in. Overall, a solid Mexican place

Best chicken tacos ever! All the food I’ve ordered there has been great but the tacos are awesome! Steak and carnitas tacos are delicious but like I said the chicken tacos are the best. The sauces they have are amazing I always ask for extra. Good chips and salsa to.

Main course entres are typically awesome! Occasionally the steak could be stepped up a bit(only down fall) I’d pay another buck or so to have a solid steak taco without the occasional gristle and fat. The refried beans you can eat like a milkshake(use a straw). I used to like them there but not so much anymore. I think they changed the recipe. Good little cozy joint though. All food is good in my opinion except the steak(hit or miss) and the beans.

I got the taco salad and it was the absolute worst taco salad I have ever eaten. A pool of water that tasted like soap and tiny bits of shredded lettuce floating in the pool of soapy water. I wish I had the power to SHUTTHEMDOWN!

Bad service. When you stand at the counter for 10 minutes and no one greets you after walking buy and taking a phone call we walked out. Don’t bother to go because they don’t want your business.

En mi barrio, you can’t throw a bottle of Tecate without hitting a restaurant with the word ‘Burrito’ in its name. El Authentico Burrito is in the same strip mall as one of the gyms I’ve been going to for the past year, yet I’ve never checked it out until fairly recently. Needing some post-workout protein one day, I walked next door and ordered me a steak dinner. It was delicious, way too much food even for a glutton like myself, and best of all, cheap. I’ve been hooked to this place ever since, driving through once or twice a week despite there being at least six Mexican joints closer to home. The tacos are amazing. They pile the meat high. And the corn tortillas are soft and two-ply, not unlike the toilet paper you actually won’t need after eating at El Burrito Authentico. And it’s almost overkill how F’in awesome the sauces are, especially the red sauce. Kinda has a creamy quality to it, almost like it has a milk base. I wish I could just drink it by the glassful. I really want to try the tortas, but since I’ve given up wheat, that’s been forbidden. But if they are anything as great as El Authentico Burrito’s tacos, then I guess a cheat day is definitely in order soon.

Wish the chicken burrito could have been more diverse in the ingredient department as it was all chicken and hardly anything else. Also got al-pastor, carnita, and carne asada tacos, which I enjoyed more than the burrito. Tacos were American-sized and were a lot better than the burrito. Prices were cheap as my bill was a little under $ 11. Menu was quite expansive as I wished I would of ordered something else, especially after seeing the daily specials such as 5 tacos for $ 5 and chupulas(sp?) $ 5.95 on Mondays.

YUMMO!!! It is hard to find a GOOD authentic Mexican restaurant around here. My opinion! I have passed this place SEVERAL times but I never had a chance to swing in. Well one night after working a crazy long shift I was not about to come home and cook so I took a gamble to drive by and see if they were still open. My 1st choice place was closed. This will now be my 1st choice place. :) I ordered a chicken burrito no beans. :) OMG not only could I not finish it but the chicken was done exactly how I hoped it would be and it was SO juicy! Chips and guac were not too bad. I could not really eat much of it because of the onion overload. I will definitely try them again in the near future. Oh the décor inside is nice and they have a friendly staff. Cheers!!!

Totally disappointed. We are fans of the Bolingbrook location because the food can’t be beat. The huaraches and chile rellenos are delicious and our favorite dishes. In Bolingbrook. This location is in a strip mall that is poorly constructed and irritating to get in and out of. We went on Sunday and hubby ordered a huarache, I got the rellenos and my daughter ordered a burger(ugh…kids!). First the server told us they were out of rellenos. Then she came back and said they were out of burgers. She was apologetic and we appreciated that but ended up getting hubby’s huarache to go and we ate at McDonald’s. Before we left we heard her telling a drive thru customer that they were out of gorditas. After all of that, Hubby said huarache tasted stale. My advice: go to the Bolingbrook location. We have always been satisfied there.

I love a good drive-through on my lunch break, and this place today was decided upon by majority vote at my office. The location is relatively convenient, on the end of a strip mall with a drive through. You can go in and eat too, looks nice enough. I opted for a large veggie burrito knowing full well that it would be at least 2 or 3 meals for me and was not disappointed. Hands down one of the best veggie burritos I have ever had. It was that good. Rice, lettuce, beans, tomato and guac with some sort of sauce and delicious. The tortilla was perfectly steamed and pressed untill a little crispy creating a perfectly sealed burritorpedo. I have only had the burrito here and as a vegetarian, my other options are a little limited, however, I will try everything I can from this place. Burrito was that good, THAT good.

I usually just order take-out from here. The steak burrito is very good and I’m a HUGE fan of the enchilada dinner w/the verde sauce! Service has always been very fast & very friendly. Restaurant is clean, but not too many customers seem to «eat in». Refried beans are quite watery, definitely not a fan of those. All in all, a decent place if you’re close by and have a taste for Mexican food.

The best tacos in town. I would hold up these tacos to any place anytime! Food is delicious here. I’m Definitely addicted to this place and everything tastes very authentic and homemade. The verde sauce is really good too. Prices are very reasonable. clean, attractive place. I only wish they had a liquor license and a more ‘restaurant’ feeling in case I’d like to sit in and enjoy myself.

I am just finishing up my lunch from here. I had the combo, which ended up being over $ 6. You get the choice of two entrees from a list of about 8 – 10, that comes with rice, beans, and small drink. My two entrees tasted good, but I was not a huge fan of the sauces it came with and the beans. It could be because I prefer chunkier tomato type sauces. Even though I did not like the beans, because they seemed too watery, I barely like beans of any variety. Inside the place was quite nice. I never really notice this place being that busy, but they have a nice spread out floor plan with maybe 8 tables. I would go to this place again and try another dish, because they had a very large menu to choose from.
