This place was great, fun atmosphere, nice indoor or outdoor seating, good food! They have a pretty decent salad bar and they have gluten free and vegan cheese options. I got a veggie pizza without cheese and it was delicious. My husband ordered bruschetta which was more like a pizza in itself, and the Mediterranean pizza which didn’t disappoint. Had $ 4 pints. Service was good, but a little slow. I would come back!

Garbage service. Waited 10 minutes to be seated in an empty dining area, then another 20 minutes for a drink — only to watch my beverages slowly die as they sat scared and alone at the bar, unserved. Trendy is okay; so are places that require more time to enjoy. For a pizza place, can you really expect a 2-hour dining experience from your patrons?

The coolest joint in town; in the heart of Elk Ave in downtown Crested Butte. Easily the best beer selection around and the most delicious pizza you’ll ever put in your mouth. The deck is party-down central when the sun is out and the vibe indoors is mellow and down to earth. A locals hangout without the«locals only» pretension. You seriously cannot go wrong with Brick Oven Pizzeria.(Ask your bartender about their brews aged in bourbon barrels and their vintage beers.)

This was the most incredible experience! The waitress was lovely! The food was delicious! And not to mention one of the greatest beer lists I’ve seen in a long time! The owner came by and talked us into some cool stuff and hooked us up too! Great to be acknowledged by management when we are having fun rather then a negative scenario. Super fun :) we’ll be back before the trip ends!

Food, good, service, excellent, beer list… freaking amazing! These are great people doing it just about perfect. Pizza was excellent, wings good(got em crispy, liked that), but beyond that I was awash in excellent beer and it was no longer about food. A slew of taps, but the bottle list is worth multiple days of sessions. Take time to get to know the staff, the owners, and I swear they have excellent beers hidden in the corners. I don’t care where you are, take the drive up to CB and spend an afternoon relaxing here. Well worth it.

This place is great to enjoy a cold pint of local craft beer and sink your teeth into a solid pizza. My girlfriend and I had everything but the kitchen sink on our pie and the crust held up without being a deep dish. They had Pliney on tap which has to be a super tough tap to get considering we are in CO. I will definitely come back because of the craft beer selection.

Pretty good pizza with lots of choices to customize. Not spectacular but does the trick after a hard days skiing! Simple and kind of packed inside but moderately priced conservatively. Enjoy!

A good spot with a nice chill vibe after a day on the mountain, good prices, good variety of beer, and REALLY great crust on their pizza.

This place has an excellent beer selection and a very friendly and beer-knowledgeable staff. I stopped in there probably 6 times in the last 8 days and they always provided excellent service and quality food and drink. They had Russian River Supplication as well as Crooked Stave and Almanac Brewing Company sour beers on tap. In addition to the sours they had 28 other tap and 90 different bottled craft beers available. Elena, Melia, Tracy, and Dan took great care of us. Thank you!

It’s difficult to rate a restaurant on the quality of it’s food when it never reaches the table. So was the case with our visit. We walked up to the greeter who pleasantly told us the wait for an outside seat would be 15 min. That was fine with us until we spotted an empty table and asked if it was available. She apologized, said she didn’t know it was empty, grabbed a couple menus and seated us. However after an extended wait we realized it remained vacant because no one was assigned to it. We then asked if we could be seated inside so we could get served. Again we were seated with menus and a pleasant smile. Again we never received service so back to the greeter we went. We told her we would look for a restaurant that would actually wait on us. Again the lovely smile and a thank you for stopping. Another visit is unlikely.

Was really looking forward to a birthday dinner after a great bike ride today. Put our name in for a party of 7. Was told 45 minutes. No problem. Went to check back after 35 minutes as recommended by the hostess because there was no «your table is ready» notification system. The hostess looked at us with blank eyes and said, «oh I thought I already sat you?». She had admittedly given our table away to another party. Okay — regroup. Hostess says«we can seat you outside now or inside in 15 or 20 minutes.» We were starving so just sat outside. After sitting for a few minutes we decided to sit inside since it was pretty cold out. I asked the hostess to still set the table for us inside and that we would like to move. We would happily wait for the table where we were currently sitting outside. The hostess then asked us to inform our server that would be moving. After doing so, our server was not happy and gave the response, «well, it’s completely different inside,» implying that she was not okay with us moving. This is when we asked to speak to a manager. The manager, Tracey, came over and aggressively asked us the problem. 1. Our table was given away. 2. Instead of the staff communicating our needs to each other, she made it our job. 3. When doing as we were asked, the response was rude. While explaining the problem to the manager, she cut us off by saying the food would take over an hour anyway because it was a «crazy night,» and if we wanted to move inside, we needed to get up from the table we were sitting at(to wait the additional 15 – 20 minutes for the table inside) so she could seat someone else at it. We gladly got up and walked out. After rude service from the hostess, the server, and the manager, this place clearly did not need or want our business. We come to CB often from Breckenridge to bike and ski and will not be returning to Brick Oven.

Pizza was good but nothing all that special. Salad bar looked good, one in our party used it, seemed a little pricey for such a diminutive plate. She seemed to enjoy it, however. I was a little surprised in that their outside area was not very dog-friendly. Basically dogs were allowed only at the tables that were on the perimeter against the iron fence. Unfortunately there are no large tables there. I ended up running home with the dogs and returning, but at lest someone had ordered some pizza for me.

Never disappoints! Garlic artichoke and pesto pizza with red sauce. Food was great! Waitress was not overly attentive, but we never had to ask for water and she was effective. They have a large selection of beer and a huge patio. Definitely a family favorite. We never miss it.

OK, I’m picky as a bitch on here about anything Italian, but pizza — its rare, very, very rare that I find a place that I like. I don’t like, I LOVE this pizza. Its outstanding. The beers are great, the servers and service is perfect. It was a great night in the summer to sit outside and have their homebrews. Love this place. The waiter was fantastic, a cool kid, on top of everything. There were some loud ass butchy tatted girls sitting next to us, cat calling young girls walking with their families(nasty!), but their vilititude could not interrupt the relationship I was having with that pizza. Honestly, we ordered a large thinking it was your ordinary, brick oven bland blah experience, then have the rest for lunch. That bitch was gone! I couldn’t walk, but if there were another one I would have found some way to get more in there. Go here, love it, then go back! It rocks!

Great beer selection and good pizza with a nice pub feel. I couldn’t believe this place had Pliny the Elder on tap. It’s pretty rare to see this mythical craft brew very far from the brewer’s(Russian River) home in Santa Rosa. Beyond the Pliny, Brick Oven has a great selection of craft beers. The pizza is pretty good too. I got the Mulay’s Pie, which has Mulay hot sausage(made in Colorado), green pepper and onion, on thin crust. The toppings were great. The sausage is definitely spicy. The crust was average, not quite as chewy as I like but tasted good. At $ 15.25 for a 12″ pie, it was pretty expensive. In the end, I was happy to pay the price to eat the pizza with Pliny the Elder!

This is a great place to visit if you are looking to sit out on a patio and get the experience of Crested Butte. Brick Oven is right no the main street and apparently a great place to go when their are parades and events going on because of the prime view. We only got to sit on the patio for a few minutes until the rain drove us inside though. There is a bar inside and outside which helps with getting a drink. They have a pretty extensive drink menu. We had the supreme deep dish pizza and the naked wings. Both were really great! Only reason I give 4⁄5 stars is the fact that it’s a little overpriced in my opinion. I can’t fault them for that though because that’s what you get when you go to these mountain towns. Overall a good place to stop into if you are hungry and in the area.

I seriously want to go back, the food was great, the staff was really cool, and the atmosphere was cozy. I had the Sampler beer platter and the build your own pizza. The quality of food was very fresh and you could taste it. I recommend coming an having a great meal and experience.

After walking out of the other pizza place in Crested Butte(aka The Secret Stash) due to bad service, I headed to this place. Cute and sorta trendy, the service was affable enough and they offered a plethora of tap beers. Though there is a difference between having a lot of beers to choose from and having good ones. But I digress. The burger I ordered(yes it’s a pizza place but there are no hamburger places here(entrepreneurs take heed)), a double beef and cheese, was dry and bland. The bun, a dry crusty pretzel thing, could have choked a chicken. The bacon on it resembled that razor thin crap they give for free at interstate motels for breakfast(so I’ve heard ;) Not even the mini packet Hienz mustard or the off brand packet mayonnaise could save it. And the fries they charged $ 2 extra we’re your garden variety Sysco frozen stuff. Come to think of it, so was the hamburger. Best of luck finding a hamburger worth a damn in this town. If you do, please Unilocal me.

What Alex L said! Nah, I will add my thoughts. I think we had a crappy server more than anything, no personality, just dropped the food off and that was it. Once I saw the table next to us order the salad bar I wanted to order that but never saw our server until she dropped of our food. Sad too because the salad bar selection looked great! We split the Hurricane Hanna pizza and a Mushroom/Swiss burger and both were great, I highly recommend! This just goes to show how tired I was when we stopped here – I hate Mushroom/Swiss burgers so it’s a little odd I ordered it. This one was tasty and we devoured it. We had bites of our food and got the rest to go since our bizzy of a server sucked. I hear they have breakfast pizza and would definitely come back for that. PS-If you have a headache, stay away. The acoustics in this place are horrible and the screaming table of kids behind us didn’t help.
