Absolutely terrible customer service! Making fun of the collection of clothes that another customer tried on after they had left. No welcome as you enter the store, no assistance while shopping and not even a thank you at check out!!! These girls need to wake up, what a joke!

Francesca’s has been in the Crestview Hills Town Center since it opened several years ago. It’s located on the backside of the restaurants, almost at the very end, sandwiched between Crabtree & Evelyn and Tala’s Distant Treasures. I absolutely love Francesca’s Collections. I think it is a very cute, trendy boutique and is perfect for browsing for yourself, browsing for gifts for friends/family or just killing time and browsing to see what’s new. When you walk in, make sure you look to your right and left because they usually will tuck clearance racks of clothes there — especially if the season has recently changed. There is more clearance at the very back on the right side of the store, and sometimes at the very back in the center. Francesca’s not only has clothes(organized by color) but also carries accessories(organized by metal), gift books, notepads/office accessories, candles, nail polish, home décor, etc… — lots of great stuff. The staff is helpful but only if you ask for help. Usually they hang out by the register unless you need them for something. That’s totally fine by me as I’m not the type of shopper who likes to be hounded by a staffmember the entire time I’m browsing a store. Just don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it, though! Sizing for the brands they carry is pretty true/accurate. I have never had a shocking experience like, say, at Gap where I can be a 0 or a 10 depending on how the garment is cut and the material it’s made of. Returns are very easy, as long as you have your receipt. They are pretty strict about the 30-day return policy and if you return after that mark, you’ll receive a store credit which isn’t the end of the world. If you return something that you bought with a gift card/store credit, you will get cash back. Parking can be a pain but that’s not Francesca’s fault… it’s just something every store faces in that section of the town center. If you can’t get parking in the spots immediately outside the store, your best bet is to park in the lot over by Argentine Bean. It’s usually clear and open and is a faster walk than if you park where the restaurants are.

I’ve been to this place several times and have always left disappointed. The staff is not friendly. In fact, they make me want to leave the moment I step in! They seem to always be having personal conversations with each other and just keep on talking it up the whole time you’re there. It makes me feel like I’m intruding or something. When you are ready to check out they look up(after a while) and ask you if you’re ready but in a way that actually says«finally, you’re going to leave!». I’ve never had such bad service! Also, they have nothing in my size. I’m XS and I have had no luck finding anything to fit me. When I first found this store I thought it had great potential and perhaps was just«having a bad day». Apparently they’re having a bad year. Ugh.

How did I not know about this fabulous, little boutique before today? Tucked in a corner of Crestview Hills Town Center, this chain of trendy shops is the first franchise in Greater Cincinnati. Francesca’s Collections is a much needed alternative to the subdued, preppie wear that dominates the Town Center. When you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with an array of hip jewelry of better quality than you’ll find in most moderately priced department stores. I bought a pair of cute bangle earrings for $ 15 and they actually look like they’ll last me awhile. In the center of the store you find kitschy gifts, books, accessories and home décor, like vintage-inspired wall-hangings. The coolest gift item I discovered was the Personal Library Kit, a great present for your favorite bibliophile. The kit is designed to track books as they are lent out to friends and family – what a great idea! Near the back of the store is the women’s clothing section. Francesca’s Collections clothes’ cost, quality, and style are reminiscent of H&M – bright, youthful, and fashion-forward. You won’t find subtle pastels here. Just primary colors, bold prints, and unique designs, all reasonable priced(they spring mini-dress I tried on was $ 62). I really loved this store’s selection and prices, and will definitely be back soon!
