This restaurant really nailed it! Their catch of the day was blackened grouper on Gouda grits with a side of wilted spinach. Fish cooked to perfection. Gouda was smooth and balanced. Spinach was… well wilted… and seasoned just right. Place was packed, so there was a bit of a wait, but it was so worth it!!! Only criticism would be the tea tasted bitter. Don’t miss this gem!

Great food! Drove from NC to Florida with my girlfriend to see her sister for her bday and went here for breakfast. The server was awesome and the food and prices were both better than expected. I got the John Wayne meal and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich on sourdough!

Fortuitous roadtrip stop! Wild Olive’s attractive interior is the first clue you’ve stepped into a great establishment — it’s a cozy home, turned restaurant with nice and classy décor. The focaccia bread with evo and spices was delicious. The soup of the day was Seafood Bisque, and it was totally decadent — creamy, well-flavored with large pieces of perfectly cooked seafood. The dessert, a crème brûlée was also a standout. An excellent place, good food and service.

I love this place! There is nothing else like it in Crestview! Food is fantastic & I appreciate that it’s upscale, not the same old things you can get everywhere else around here. Some of my favorites: — Shrimp & Smoked Gouda Cheese Grits — amazing! — Fried Green Tomatoes — this«ain’t yo mama’s» version — Roman Chicken Tortellini — wonderful — Buffalo Chicken Salad — a tear-jerker, but delicious — Crème Brulee — This is the real reason I eat there. Good luck finding this elsewhere! — Filet Mignon w/Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Wilted Spinach Menu changes often, but I’ve never had anything there that wasn’t incredible, & I’ve fine-dined all over the world. Service is excellent & the owners are super people — usually found seating, serving, bussing tables, whatever is needed. Do yourself a favor & drop in, if you haven’t!

Pros: waitress and staff were friendly. Nice décor and setting. Cons: limited breakfast menu. Not a lot of heathy options for meat —they only had pork sausage, bacon, and fried chicken to choose from for breakfast. Food was bland. I expected my side of Gouda grits to be a lot more flavorful. Carrot cake tasted old like it had been refrigerated for too long. Also, I ended up getting a side of Gouda grits and a slice of carrot cake and my bill was $ 12.65 for a side and a slice of cake!
