Ok hotel. Price is good. Other positives were the check in staff was pleasant and room was clean. Drawbacks are the location is not the best area, walls are paper thin, a double bed was smaller than a true double and tons of dogs. So if you are a dog fan that is on a budget and you have poor hearing this place is for you. But no room for Fido to sleep in your mini-bed. Bonus tip: the breakfast was very close to dog food.

It’s a pretty good Hampton. Typical amedadies, free breakfast, wifi and gym, this one has an indoor pool. It’s on the south west side of metro Chicago. I’m not sure where the public transit is into downtown, but it was a good location to start from.

Like the fact that this is a smoking hotel(…especially in the winter months!) Having to go outside in the middle of the night in the dead of winter is SONOT fun. So to be able to get a room that allows smoking is a rarity these days and we appreciate that. Good continental breakfast and we really like their workout room. Its clean and open 24⁄7(even though the sign says 6am till midnight. Key card gets you in whenever.) Their pool is very clean and its pretty big. Would be nice if there was a whirlpool along side it to enjoy as well, but they do have whirlpool rooms available so that helps. Great people, reasonable rates and their rooms are clean. Most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on and comforter is like a cloud. Its a great location for a «staycation.» We’ve stayed more than once for this purpose and really enjoyed ourselves.

Great hotel! We stayed here for a friend’s wedding and the experience was fabulous! The hotel itself has plenty of parking and is a pretty populated area of Crestwood. It shares a parking lot with K-Mart, Popeye’s Chicken and a pizza joint. The K-Mart was convenient when I got a run in my nylons and had to run over quickly to get a new pair! The hotel is a very nice, updated Hampton Inn. There is a breakfast bar area that serves hot breakfast in the morning(only sausage and waffles in the hot area) and free coffee/tea all day long! The furniture was really comfy and the lobby is very comfortable and warm. There was a computer with free Internet access next to the front desk in case you didn’t bring a laptop with you. The pool is open 6 am. to 10 pm., convenient for the kids staying in the hotel! Our room was super nice. Although we were in a smoking room, the beds were super comfortable(even though they were both oversized twin beds — we couldn’t sleep in the same bed!) and there were tons of pillows. The TV was nicely sized and had a lot of channels — only weird problem was there didn’t seem to be a remote, only a weird XBox-looking controller and all it did was change the channel; there was no volume control or power button. Weird. There was a desk at one end of the room and it had a super comfy chair and a nice space to do writing or to set a laptop. All the rooms have access to FREE Wifi, so I recommend taking advantage. I brought my laptop just for the free Wifi! The bathroom was nice, clean and had a tiny coffee maker! I love free coffee in the room and it’s really nice that they didn’t have to make a special trip to bring it — each room was already equipped with it! We were also able to bring our dog, which was really nice. I hate putting him in the kennel when we could just bring him somewhere. There was enough room for his crate in the room without blocking space in the room. All in all, a really great experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and there was even a nice shuttle service that they set up to take us to and from the reception hall for the wedding that I attended. I’d like to stay at the hotel again as the other reviewer suggested to just spend a nice weekend in their bigger rooms. The bigger room with the jacuzzi tub was only $ 25 more than the regular room — why not upgrade and make it a great, romantic weekend?

If you are a southlander looking for an inexpensive jacuzzi suite for a weekend getaway close to home, this is the place. We have done these easy one night getaways about 3 times so far and it has always been great. One bed, a jacuzzi, a very nice and clean shower and bathroom. That’s all you need! For about $ 150 for a Saturday night.
