This place has awesome authentic Greek gyros!
But also in contrast this has to be one of the most RACIST establishments in Crestwood today! The women who take your order are as prejudice and nasty as they come! Not only are they impolite but utterly disrespectful and narcissistic when it comes to taking orders from Black customers. The only way you’ll be greeted and treated with a smile and Respect is if you’re of Caucasian origin… ~Proud to be an American. The sad world we live in today, Smh. Just take with you the Almighty is watching everyone and everything‼

Came here to grab dinner. Staff was friendly and received food quickly. Food was hot and delicious. My only complaint was that they on accept cash, which is weird these days. They also had a sign stating such and that there was an atm that could be used. Otherwise, good quick take out food.

Great Gyro Plate and the Greek Salad is pretty good as they are both huge servings. The Big Baby is my favorite in the city and somehow they do it perfectly. All of these items are such great bargains!
The hot dogs though are really mediocre and leave a lot to be desired. I would rather advise shying away from the 3 dog special.

Wish I lived closer. Get down this way every once in a while for work. Absolutely love the Big Baby. Great flavor and a bargain. Have not had much else here. Go in thinking I will try something new but when I have not had the Big Baby in 2 – 3 months I can not pass it by.
They are quick and efficient and keep the line moving pretty well.

What can say been going to Nicky’s since the 90’s this place is the place for beef sandwiches!!! The Beef has always been big not like some other Nickys around town. This Beef will fill you and then some its huge and order it with a side of cheese mmmm perfecto! The fries are potatoe cut get em well done there mouthwatering!!! The Gyro plater fills me my mom and my dad and hes a big man! order xtra pitas though. Hambergers are delicious as well not a bad thing on the menu!!! Oh and order a pizza puff for later there good as well 5 stars always has been always will be! BEST NICKYS around! I have a Nickys here in Alsip and it sucks so there you go

I have been enjoying the great tasting food at Nicky’s for twenty years, is reasonably priced and always has been consistent. I have tried almost everything on the menu, tasted great, best fries in the southwest burbs.
As long as they keep serving great food at reasonable prices, cash only is perfectly OK. My rating is solely on the quality of the food.

If you want great food fast then this is the best place around! I’ve been going here for over 15 years and they haven’t messed up once. They have everything you could ever want but all you really need is their famous Big Baby, extremely cheap 3 hot dog special with frys, or any one of their great shakes. Get the gyro if you want dinner for the next two days! Small place with fast and friendly service that gets you in and out with amazing food!

3 hot dogs, with a huge pile of fresh-​cut fries, for $ 4.50. That’s an absolutely insane amount of food for that price. And it’s good, too!

The reason I am leaving 3 stars is for the rude & uncomfortable interactions I’ve had with the staff and because they do not take credit cards. The few times I’ve grabbed food from here it has been quality.

Worst gyro ever. I don’t know what was wrong but the spices were bad and it was just bad. Also cash only?

Excellent gyros. Authentic Greek gyro platter. Never had a bad meal there. Only take CASH no debit or credit cards they have an ATM if you wanna pay $ 2.50 to get cash

good specials for decent prices. not too crazy about their fries but overall the food is pretty good. the time I was in there it was cash only which I hate cause the atm charged me an extra 2.75. not sure if their machines were down or what but that would be my only complaint.

Great prices and great food. You can get a full meal here for five dollars and some change. Staff is very friendly but just a heads up, this place is CASH only.

I have been coming here after seeing a movie with my family for 20 years. Best fries in the game. The friendly woman at the counter knows us so well that she asks what show we saw, every time! I will hopefully be bringing my children, my grand-​children, and great grand children.

Get your fries «well done»! That is what I can say about the fries.
Now the rest. My brother in law turned me on to this joint. You can’t beat the prices. It is funny though. The hotdog deal has gone from $ 3.99 to what it is now $ 4.50 (I think). It is a dive joint that Chicago has a bunch of. The ones with the gyro plate, or the hotdog meal, or the burgers. Not much separates one from the other, aside from price, cleanliness, and location. This is out in the burbs of the far south side.
I can really only speak to the hotdogs and fries, as that is all i get. The fries are good, but like I said, WELL DONE! And the hotdogs? They are Chicago STYLE dogs, not actual Chicago dogs. No sport peppers, poppyseed bun, celery salt and cukes. If you added those, I am sure the price would rise.
We will usually stop there and get 3 orders of dogs for our trip back East.
Overall the price is a 5, service is 4.5, and quality is a 3.5.

Our family’s favorite place. We always get the same thing: Italian beef with hot peppers, Grilled Chicken Sandwich with hot peppers and a Big Baby, only one order of fries because you do get a ton of fries. To us, this is a family tradition, we love it here, it is very economical and we love the food. We are not fancy-​schmancy, and we keep it real. It is not the best beef I have ever tasted, but it ranks up there, especially for $ 5. My kid will not have a chicken sandwich from anywhere else. And the big baby is a steal for around $ 2.50. A large order of fries goes for around $ 2. The hot dog special is the best around, 3 hot dogs and fries for around $ 4.25 (it just went up from $ 3.99), still a great deal.

3 Chicago style hot dogs and a large fry for $ 4.29, and it’s delicious. The gyros plate is also some of the very best in Chicago. I have been a customer of this place for over 15 years, and their food is always very consistently good. The pricing is also great, you get a lot for your money.

Great little spot with super flavorful gyros with a nicely noticeable lamb flavor. The platter was definitely enough for four. Request extra tzatziki sauce (30 cents a piece) cause 1 little cup is not nearly enough.
Fries were nice and crispy.
The place does a solid and steady business and they are superquick on filling orders.
If you are anywhere near here stop in for a very reasonably priced meal.

The portions at this place are incredible.
Order the Gyro Plate ($ 7.99), and get enough food for 5 meals. I recommend adding extra pitas and sauce, as it only includes two pitas and one cup of sauce.
They’ll put basically a whole lamb in the container. It’s so good, and the fries are obviously freshly cut.
I love this place and wish it wasn’t a 30 minute drive from my house.
I’ve had yet to try anything else on the menu, but I’ve heard great things about the burgers and hot dogs! :)
