The staff is nice and professional. The stores are clean and well organized, The clothes and shoes are way over priced, $ 14.99 for Gap dress or pleather shoes from JC Penny? I can under stand marking-uo designer or vintage merchadies. I only shop when they have sales or I get coupons for donating.

This place is sort of a thrift store wet dream with nightmare tendencies. Everything is used; some things more harshly than others. When we went it was very picked over and seemed no different than a Goodwill in the city’s limits(we drove 30 minutes to get here expecting somewhat better quality than we saw at stores like St. Vincent’s). The quality was overall very low, although there is a whole warehouse-sized store to choose from. We donated a ton of household stuff and clothes and received a 30% off coupon, but honestly it was a stretch to find anything worth buying. Halloween seemed to be a weird focus, and they had these hilarious PA ads when this little guy would get on the mic and say these super cheesy one liners about Halloween. It was so dorky we were falling over ourselves laughing. This one worker lady didn’t like how goofy we were being, but F you Becky! You’re defending the bottom line of thieves and swindlers! Anyways, if you live in the STL county area, this place is your local thrift store. Hit-or-miss as hell(we missed laughably hard!), but you can find decent bargains on harshly used home goods. Forget about the clothes if you have any standards or self-respect. The shoes seemed to have been stolen from homeless people, which is wrong to do. Shame on you, Saver’s, for stealing shoes from those homeless people. We wanted to use that coupon because we knew we’d never return, so we bought a deluxe waffle maker. With the discount, it was $ 5, which seems roughly fair. If you live in St. Louis city, there is a plethora of good thrift stores with fair prices on their harshly used goods, and I’d say go to any of those before you end up out at this chop shop. Two stars because they have a good business idea(used goods in exchange for store credit), but over-bearing cheesy service people made us feel uncomfortable, and we will not be back.

I came by today to drop off a few items and couldn’t resist stopping in. Savers is more expensive than say Goodwill or Value Village, but everything I bought is name brand right out of the department stores so I know I’m getting a great deal. I went today(a Tuesday) so if your above the age of 55+, make sure you come on a Tuesday because it’s senior day! Anyways. They have a great selection of clothes for women, men, and children. I found lots of name brand women’s clothing and specifically I got a few items originally from Victoria Secret. I also hit it up with books– they are buy 4, get 1 for free. They have several shelves of books varying from every topic and the shelves are very well organized. I think it’s nearly impossibly to walk out of this store without buying something. Savers is expensive. I got five books, two pairs of VS sweats, a VS robe, and a hoodie that is no brand but very nice and cozy all for $ 36. I did have a coupon which you can also obtain by dropping items(clothes/shoes/bags/movies/kitchen items/basically ANYTHING) off at the donation on the left side of the building, which I encourage everyone to do so because it’s much more fun to shop knowing you’ll get 30% off your items. :)

This is my go to thrift store! Monday’s is discount day, Tuesday is seniors day! They have an amazing selection of books tons of clothes for everybody from 4x to micro small, kids, adults, aliens! They have household goods like furniture, tools, sewing, radios, they have everything and then some! You cant possibly walk out of Savers without buying something wonderfully neat! The handbag department on average has probably 70 handbags and that doesn’t count backpacks, cosmetic purses, messenger bags, and any other bag you could want! I bet if you took an empty house and went to Savers you could fully fill your house with everything you need in good condition in a week with no problem! In my opinion it is a thrifters nirvana! So now that I’ve told you how great it is, go try and prove me wrong! I dare you! Oh, and most important the employees are fantastic and the store is really clean and well organized!
