Great place for the kids… not bad for the adults either. The only sports arena that I know of where you can grab a craft beer while waiting for kids to finish. I’ve never ordered food, but my kids enjoy the fried stuff and cookies!

I come here for the ice skating classes. There are two rinks, one big one(the NHL Hockey Rink) and the smaller one(the figure skating rink). The ice skating classes are in the smaller rink, and the classes are great. They are small class sizes(at one point there were only 2 people in a class for a session, and 2 coaches!) and the coaches and staff always make you feel welcome. They make you feel like you’re part of the family. They are super friendly, and really go out of their way for you, like letting you in/giving you skates without paying(since they know you), or making conversation with you, and some staff members actually remember my name! The building is very nice overall, there are TVs in the room, always playing the news or a hockey game(figure skating events are usually in other time zones or while I’m not there so I’m not sure if they still show them) one TV is over a fireplace, the seats are nice and very comfortable, the bathroom is not something you would expect for an ice rink(very clean and fancy, kind of reminds me of a banquet hall bathroom), and the rinks are usually surprisingly warm, they’re usually heated. The class prices are GREAT, and i mean G R E A T, around $ 100 every 7 – 9 weeks, compared to other places, and you really learn. In my first session, I passed three USFS basic skills levels, and I only keep improving. Even with larger classes(they combine skill level classes), the coaches really work with you to make sure you know what you need to work on, and even after class they talk to you! You’re guaranteed to make friends at this amazing place. I cannot explain in words how much I love coming here, and I’m glad I did.

The ice was rough the staff was nice but there are to many people especially kids who just stand there on there phones and its hard for someone just learning unfortunately it one of only two ice rinks in the area

My son has skating lessons here and they seem to always be busy, but they have been friendly, courtesy, and clean. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for lessons, free skate, or a birthday party.

Great ice skating experience! Staff was super Friendly and we rented skates and they were actually close to brand new. No old stinky skates here like you usually find. I was here for a co-workers 50th bday and although we didn’t have the whole place rented out, it still felt special and the staff made sure our needs were catered too. Food was surprisingly decent too. Finally bathrooms were not brand new, but very respectable and fairly clean for an ice arena. Overall a nice experience here.

So my friend’s daughter wanted to hang here for her birthday. There is open skate from 3pm-4:30 for about $ 9 pp(skates & admission). the people there are nice enough. The rink is intimate yet accommodating. My 2 year old had an absolute ball and she learned how to ice skate(fall, LOL)… Absolutely priceless times!

Hahaha. So my brother and his wife like hockey. And they decided to get married here, on ice. It’s a high school hockey rink, so if you don’t see why that’s hysterical, then, well, I guess I’ll have to show you the pictures sometime. I don’t really know what to say about a high school hockey rink, except that it has ice. And, um, locker rooms, I assume. And nachos, but only on game nights. I was very disappointed that I didn’t get to eat any during the wedding. It may not have been our classiest moment as a family, but it was damn memorable. And before you get any ideas, no, I don’t think they rent out the rink for weddings often. In fact, when we arrived there, the marquis read«Congrats Bill & Karen», but by the time we left, it had already been changed to «Lessons Available – Call Now». So they’re not all that romantic, after all.
